This kid is a very good player, although he did have a couple things that helped him. When he ran the ball, not one player tried to tackle him with good form or below the waist. He also had a very talented offensive line that seemed to know their blocks very well. On the defensive side of the ball, playing as a linebacker, you have to give credit to the D-line too. They took on several double teams to open up holes for this kid. He is a very good player with great speed and lots of talent.
defensive clips were very good. Needs to get a little lower in filling holes, get the leverage to an advantage for being that tall. I'm sure he's having a solid college career if he got taught to use his height as an advantage. Flexibility drills would be a key.
Quite a stud! I always wondered if the Porta frickes were realted to the fricke's over here. I followed this guya little at porta and saw him play west hancock his junior year in high school and he was a tenancious linebacker with pretty good speed. Any relation to Jacob Fricke the TE from Triopia? What position does he play at Culver? He is teammates with our old QB, Dustin Jacoby, there?
Go portaa(:

The kid was an outstanding high school linebacker - he and the Robinson kid were as good as I've seen. How did his freshman year of college ball go?
