This is what does not make sense about this scene: Tony has a better suit, yes, but Rhody is a military trained, professional soldier! So using his enhanced strength offered by the suit and military skills, Rhodey should have won that fight by a landslide!

@earleaccount Yes...but also, take into account that it's the first time he's ever used the suit. If you throw michael shumacher into a car, he'll drive great, give him time, he'll reach his full potential. Given the circumstances, I think Rhody did pretty well.

@FranMan221 Yes, Rhody did very well, and I am still under the impression that if the fight lasted any longer, Rhodey would have won. Operation of the iron man suit is pretty strait forward: You put it on and still move your limbs like normal. This fight is like pitting Bill Gates vs A United States Marine, The winner is pretty straight forward!

@earleaccount You've got to remember that was a prototype suit. Rather than upgrading it, Tony just built another suit based off of the specs, but the suit he is wearing was made after the fight with Stane, so obviously its undergone some powerful modifications to take a beating. But I will give Rhodey some credit, he stood his ground pretty well. I doubt though his own physical strength in the suit would make any difference since it is more the suits own strength to pull the punches.

@bazookoidben On the other hand, both of them were using the same Mark IV-type reactor to power their suits, so it was more a matter of skill than how hard they could strike each other. One of these guys was plastered. ...Y'know... XD

@bazookoidben Thats actually a very good point; in this situation its mostly based on technology, and Tony Stark has the upper hand; Take off those suits however or give Rhodey the same suit, the scenario drastically changes!
