  • Great dancing by the women. :^•

  • brazil in japan? is it because alotta japanese emigrated to brazil in the turn of the century?

  • Erf...I missed this I arrived 2 days later I guess

  • wow ! he was singing in portuguese at the beggining! that was cool !

  • this sounds otaku-ish, but when i saw the name of the song Kaze ni naritai, i thought it was the character song of sailor uranus... MAN AM I OLD!!

  • Front row is enjoying a nice view. Sekkushiii...

  • Thank you for the video. I hope to visit South America, and Japan someday.

  • uhhh... those artsy types are the same everywhere you go

  • nice dancers, I'm portuguese and the accent is a bit hard to understand, but its good!

  • Is that portuguese or japanese....? I really can't tell! :s

  • @Aislingify it's portugues, if you listen starting at about a minute in is't a little easier to understand.

  • Japanese version of the Dead Heads ahahahh

  • @Curas1 - Oh really? So you've been dancing with every Japanese person on earth?

  • ive heard this song before but i cant figure out where o.0

thanks for posting the video. now i want to find that song!

  • Cool =)

  • I think you had fun, Hiroko-san at the festival. Thank you for sharing the fun experience you had.

  • I might go to that festival when i move to Japan.

  • In Brazil there is the largest Japanese community outside Japan.

  • It's hard to believe that there would be so many persons in this festival dedicated to foreign country. When you considered the harsh measure of the Japanese government against the foreigner and how most of Japanese dislikes the presence of foreigners it seems like this is impossible. This festival shows that Japanese do appreciate other culture besides their own. I find this quite positive... Uber thumbs up!!!

  • There are a lot of Japanese who live in Brazil, they have been there a while. Thanks Hiroko

  • Why would the Japanese celebrate anything Brazilian?

Do you have any Brazilians at all in the country?

  • @wickedlady4180 There is a large Japanese community in Brazil and there is also quite a few Brazilians that live in Japan. I have a Brazilian friend that lives in Japan.

  • @Theytoldmetodoit1 That's neat. :)

  • @wickedlady4180 what's wrong with celebrating and appreciating another culture through song, dance, and celebration?!

  • @kkz201 Where in my post did I say there was something wrong with it? Unwind yourself, bro.

  • im so proud of my country >.< BRAZIL ROX AND SO DOES JAPAN but combining the two is just epic :P

  • this looks like such a fun festival!

  • Cool costumes :)

  • SILVER LIKES HIROKO CANAL !

  • Wow! Has it already been a year?? O.o

    Looks exciting~

Their costumes are really amazing, right?
