The MERP plan is an unrealistic one. If marijuana is ever legalized it's going to be regulated. Trying to gain support for legislation that allows people to grow an unlimited amount of a mind altering substance is never going to garner a large amount of support. I support legalization, but I'm serious about it, so supporting the MERP plan is pointless.
its pretty nice knowing that i smoked for 2 yrs straight everyday and just stopped its the easiest thing to quit i still want to smoke sometimes yet i havent in months
I'm fine with the taxation , it is a great way to generate income . California could get themselves out of debt . It will still be cheaper than buying it now because of the volume growers will be able to grow without risk . Smokers haven't quit because of tobacco taxes and those are outragous .
Does it matter if Marijuwana gives you cancer? Tobbaco gives you cancer now dosent it? And cigarettes, cigarlos, and cigars are legal and have WAY many more harmful side effects. You can put Marijuwana into a pipe the exaust of which is 28-32% THC, Bongs or water pipes 70-78% THC, and Vaporizors 90-93% PURE THC!!!! Near Pure THC isnt going to give you Cancer.
I love all your videos, and i completely agree wiht this one, but just one little thing id like to see changed is the way you end your videos, because they just end haha dose anyone agree wiht this?
The way it seems is that a lot of the studies on the cannabis possibly causing diseases is pretty much bullshit. Lots of propaganda, lots of lies, rumors, and whatnot. SO many people have used cannabis for all their life, and have ben in perfect health..... And there is LEGIT studies on this.... So besides this.. Whats holding us back? Of course the Higher ups want the cash.... What else is new right?
The MERP plan needs to be implemented worldwide. Where I live, in Western Australia, it is legal to own 2 cannabis plants. Any more than two is considered a commercial quantity. An uncle of mine had 3 and is now serving a twelve year prison sentence for drug manufacture/distribution when in reality he was only growing for himself. End the drug war, now.
herbal incense (fake stuff) is selling like hot cakes and at a very much inflated price for weight compared to green. therefore, the government are doing very nicely tax-wise out of the fake substitute stuff at the moment.
on that same note, ahem , swim tried a 3g packet of magic gold last week and was shocked the produce only weighed in at 2g dead. the cost was $ 41 - wtf, the high was short but no come down next day
Sweety, it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah. So few people know the truth that it's almost pointless to even talk about it, IN THIS COUNTRY. I must always add that qualifier because THIS is the most backwards fascist nation of all of the "civilized western nations," bar none.
Studies have shown that endogenous cannabinoids found in the body regulate endocrine and immune functions. In fact, it is now referred to as the Endocannabinoid system. You need to do A LOT more research on this topic.
When it comes to legalization of any drug I think we steer away from the true reason why drugs should be legal in a free country.
Regardless of how healthy the drug is for you, the argument should not have anything to do with medical studies. Simply, the argument is whether or not a "free" citizen has the right to choose what they put into their body, regardless of the benefits or risks.
The medical research should be to help, not hinder, those making a decision on actually partaking.
I sometimes suffer some mild asthma for a few hours after I've smoked cannabis. I had very bad asthma as a kid and was on steroids until I was 11 or 12.
My asthma has since stopped, but when I smoke a joint or something very thick with hot smoke it flares up for a few.
However, I've recently started smoking from a bowl using cold water and the asthma that used to follow has stopped. :) So, in my opinion and experience, MJ doesn't cause much lung damage at all. At least not as much as tobacco.
Oh, I have. The onset is so much smoother and more enjoyable with vaporizers. But for now, with hardly any money, I'll have to deal with alternative means. Though, to be honest, using the bong with the iced water makes all the difference.
Next investment will definitely be a vaporizer, though. (Or just a new, shinier, more stylish, better quality bong. ha.)
Cannabis has been used for asthma sufferers for years. In the 1800's pharmacies would sell a cannabis "tonic".
I would suggest saving your money and investing in a vaporizer. It should help your asthma a great deal, and do away with the flaring up after a smoke.
The only thing that would bother me about a vaporizer would be having to always be near an outlet. Unless there are battery powered ones. :/ I like the outdoors a lot so, perhaps a joint or pipe should always be an option; don't want to spoil myself 24/7 with a vaporizer, after all.
riding my bike to work causes cancer with all that bus pollution about so i don't see how grass would be worse than that

your right, either way is fine just to get it de-criminalized but a truly noble society would never use taxation to leverage funding. world governments have grown into these monsters we have to keep feeding steaks to else it will eat us. . . okay, time for a bong rip.
not only marijuana, i think we should legalize all drugs. It is our body, and our right to do to it as we please. I invision a mass of millions of people just walking past the white house smoking weed. Just be like, ok arrest 4 million people right now, i dare you.
In addition to my previous comment, According to C. Everett Koop, 90% of lung cancer can be contributed to a radioactive ingredient/ chemical only found in tobacco, not marijuana. Even though, Marijuana contain similar chemicals and tar like tobacco, THC actually inhibits the enzyme necessary to activate the carcinogens found in ganja smoke, thus inhibiting any cancer cells from forming. Just thought i would share a few tid-bits. PASS'DA DUTCHIE 'PON 'da Lef-'and side
According to an article in The Cannabible, By: Jason King, Volume 3, p.42. You will find that there have already been clinical studies since 1974, that when trying to prove the negative effects of Marijuana on the human immune system, researchers discovered that "they found that THC slowed the growth of three kinds of cancer. [ the DEA quickly shut down the Virginai study and all further research into the relationship between cannabis and tumors.]"
I think there is enough info already out there that shows that marijuana is nearly harmless. Cancer risk? There has never been a single recorded case of marijuana-only lung cancer. THC actually fights cancerous cells and as Tashkin pointed out the THC kills cancerous cells.
Tax money for substance abuse treatment? How many voluntary people are in substance abuse treatment for marijuana? Almost nil.
I love cannabis & I would greatly prefer for it to be taxed because as a nation it would help us a lot. I also believe that if it is legalized we should find various uses for it. Such as plastics, fuels, papers, clothing, & things yet to be discovered.
I hope it becomes legal for us as a country. This way we can take steps towards the future.
We don't know enough about all the hallucinogens you like either.
Obama's drug czar wants the drug wqar he says there is no legit medical use. If the usa admits that then undr 1960 un convention agreements it must be made availiable for medical or scientific use for the people. lol the banner to the right is for s drug free world. We need drugs people...it's medicine.
I want to it to be legal but I don't at the same time. I don't want a big corporation to take over the cannabis industry and put an addictive additive so it won't be " natural " anymore :/
Yeah dude I totally agree with what you are saying. Even Mckenna himself admitted that he would rather just have decriminalization/legalization for people to grow but he did not want it to become some industrial commodity. Who really knows how many benefits there will be to legalization when we have all these restrictions too.
Cannabis is medicine. The studies are all in. Cannabinoids are antitumor agents both in vivo and vitro. Speak for yourself if you don't know enough! I can dump 100 different peer reviewed journal articles on your ass right here and now proving that cannabis actually fights most cancers.
I agree with you, there are studies out there showing that cannabis does not cause cancer. But what I was trying to explain is that the people that want to keep cannabis illegal will say that there is not enough research. Think about it, any time you're smoking something and bringing it into your lungs ache could be causing damage.
I think more study needs to be done on this subject, but so far from what I can ascertain from the research studies it looks like cannabis smoking does not cause as much damage as tobacco smoking.
Feel free to email me the research studies. If you can convince me that there is enough evidence proving that smoking cannabis does not increase a person's risk of getting lung cancer, I will do a video describing it.
I've done this 3 times with 3 different commentators (government pigs) on your videos until I ran them off. Eventually I'll get sick of having to repeat myself and I'll just do a damned video on it myself, in APA format and worthy of peer review.
I haven't taken a look at a particular study I'm thinking of in a while. But, to the best of my knowledge, I believe it was Dr. Taskin (maybe not) who compared the effects on the lungs caused by cannabis, tobacco, and a mixture. And If my mind serves me right the study showed that while tar and chemicals from tobacco destroy the entire lung, cannabis smoke only harmed the inner lining of the lung, which can be restored.
I need to dig around and see if I can find that study again.
More studies? You can't be serious. Cannabis is the world's MOST studied plant. All of the studies started by the US govt. tried everything they could, even intellectual dishonesty and screwing the tests, to "prove" how "dangerous" cannabis is. The only thing they proved is how nontoxic it is and they lost several of their best researchers along the way because they happened to be intellectually HONEST and were converted by what they saw. It's absolutely harmless compared to tobacco or alcohol.
I can also show you a study that shows that tobacco smokers who also smoke cannabis have much lower average cancer rates. Anyone who tells you that "there haven't been enough studies" is either ignorant or is deliberately lying to you.
yeah dude grow your own the crimes that u need to do to get it. fuck that i do not want blood weed and export my money to d bags. make it illigal to import weed that it and so home grows will happen and stuff will be nice. that may not make sence i am high.
i live with a crippling form of early onset rheumatism which keeps me in a world of pain. anti depressants compromised my hepatic system ( there's now a class action suit re the toxicity of that "safe, new" drug i was given to treat the natural sadness that can arise with constant physical suffering.) pain management with pharmaceuticals is a joke. opiates make me puke and NSAIDs give me hives, diarrhea and stomach ulcers. marijuana is the only means i have of gently, safely treating my disorder
I'm taking fluoxitine (Prozac equivalent) and am tapering down so eventually I may stop taking it. I had to take it to undergo my Hep C treatment for depression and to prevent suicide (the most severe side effect from the medication, which I finished at the end of March). Plus I have stage 4 liver disease - cirhosis. I confirm everything you said as my own personal experience. I did not know about any class action suit though.
decades of research and hundreds of studies have shown there is no cancer link, no brain cell destruction or dna alteration, no gateway factor, no deleterious effects except for maybe a slight shift toward non-linear thinking, the munchies, and in some caes the giggles even among populations where use is very intensive. see the work of dr ethan russo for example. obama's drug czar has stated that there is no medical use for marijuana. tell that to my friends living with multiple sclerosis!
I think plenty of research is out there; i.e., the millions of people, if not billions, across the globe who use marijuana. I think plenty of studies indicate that pot is harmless and helpful for most people but that it should be avoided in certain circumstances like asthmatic attacks. Of course, some people abuse it by smoking way too much - I've heard of a case in which a popular musician may have died of cancer from smoking as much as a 1/4 pound/day - now that's excessive and ridiculous.
If your talking about Bob Marley he smoked around a pound a week. He died from cancer that spread from his foot to his brain because he refused modern treatment. He did not obtain cancer from smoking herb. If smoking herb did cause cancer we would see countless cases throughout history.
Thanks so much for setting the record straight. I was talking about Bob Marley but I wasn't sure exactly how he died. If he smoked a pound a week and did NOT die from it then I'd say he's a perfect example of the safeness of marijuana smoke intake, except people with lung problems should exercise caution smoking it and perhaps ought to resort to ingestion when their symptoms (ie, asthma attack) flare up.
Though fractal art can be "trippy", it may be cool to change up the BGs every once in a blue moon. Perhaps a horror montage with a violent, blood filled, motif--dismembered bodies, severed heads, frightening images of the macabre, and acts of the cruelest kinds of debauchery and torture. Just a thought, but could be fun!
Why the fuck would you want to see that. If you were on acid you wouldn't want to see that. Happy hippie stumbling along the internet, decides to watch some NeuroSoup, and whoops, there's a scene of horror and mayhem in the background. That's fucked up.
I like the MERP plan. Prohibitionists don't care much for facts. Factually, cannabis isn't dangerous. In fact, Tylenol is more dangerous. Cannabis is more like ... cacao. Just an herbal supplement, really. No reason to criminalize nature. None.
If everyone knew the full benefits and uses of the cannabis/hemp plant, it would be legal in no time.
Spread the truth
Cannabis/Hemp could provide the entire world with food, shelter, clothing, soap, fuel, paper, biodegradable plastic, insulation, and medicine. Plastic bags and containers could all be replaced with hemp.
i don't know where the time goes.....i only know I still fancy the hell out of you !

i live with a crippling form of early onset rheumatism which keeps me in a world of pain. anti depressants compromised my hepatic system ( there's now a class action suit re the toxicity of that "safe, new" drug i was given to treat the natural sadness that can arise with constant physical suffering.) pain management with pharmaceuticals is a joke. opiates make me puke and NSAIDs give me hives, diarrhea and stomach ulcers. marijuana is the only means i have of gently, safely treating my disorder

They decriminalized every drug in Portugal and it hasn't become a black hole or a rift in time-space yet. Hmmmm.

They are my fractal art creations added to the video with a green screen
NeuroSoup 2 years ago
Though fractal art can be "trippy", it may be cool to change up the BGs every once in a blue moon. Perhaps a horror montage with a violent, blood filled, motif--dismembered bodies, severed heads, frightening images of the macabre, and acts of the cruelest kinds of debauchery and torture. Just a thought, but could be fun!
GL0bALc0N 2 years ago

Legalising mdma is more important
ausfoolia1111 2 years ago
why? It was legal in the '50s right??( I don't know exactly)
deryler 2 years ago
Why do you feel that?
cortgb 2 years ago
Not more important in my opinion, but still something that should be legalized, MDMA is pretty safe.
axelxrb 2 years ago
it should be Schedule III like it was originally decided to be by the Supreme Court
