  • I got 32 gigs...

  • He says, "System monitor show 23.5 GiB. Pretty good."

    Pretty good?? LOL

  • I am an unemployeed computer hardware tech and i have viewed alot of vids today about lots of ram.. and my conclusion was one. It is not a coincidence the fact that all amateur vids showing 8,16 & 24 Gb of ram booted on windows and a professional like you from ASRock which i love your m/bs boot up to Linux. +1 for that! :) keep on ASRocking! a linux fan

  • I have one trillion exabyte RAM - and I shoot bytes when I cum

  • How do I get that board ? :) QC

  • u no that 1 in a million saying? well there are 1,367 asains just like u

  • even with all that GPU capacity there is still ghosting of thewindows as he drags them across t he screen

  • I have 4gb of ram and I dont think i need more, maybe 6gb would do but 8gb is the maximum i would do.

  • my Amiga 500 has 512 kb memory .

and im gonna expand it ,to 1MB soon for better games.

    :)

it wont run Grysis. but it will run longer then my new PC:)

    retro stuff is sweet.

my Amiga is worth more to me then a modern PC with 4 videocards.

it had style and was sexy.

  • 8gb is as far as i would ever go i dont need more than that

  • i have 48gb ram it cost 6750£ woop woop

  • i have 1.5gb ram and 128 of video fuck yeah (laptop)

  • I have 2GB SDRAM fuck yeah

  • I have 6 ram modules in my PC... You have 6 pisses of ram!

  • u cant beat my 16mb sdr =)

  • This puts my 16gb to shame.

  • 2:46 TOOENTY FOUUR GIGABITE!

  • Haha, i was just thinking about maybe buying 16 more gb liek yesterday then today i see this video... same ram & everything.

  • Centos .... you mean business then.

  • Well my system has been dwarfed by you guys !

  • my mobo can run 32gb

  • niggahiga!!!!

  • Have you considered making a mother board that has not only the rediculously large capacity for ram but also a similar capacity for video cards. I notice you mentioned a singular video card in the video. What about multi channel video cards? Anything else comnig down the line we should be aware of. What about a multi processor setup for the multi channel ram and multi channel video card setup?

  • @MrSaturdayNightSpecL That is called Tri-SLi or CrossfireX with dual gpu video cards.

  • You guys jelly of my 2gb mem...

    Well this is awkward.

  • @hellhero28 2GB

    omg thats low

  • with this computer u are officially captain kirk from the enterprise

  • hi guys im realy confused to buy a mobo please help me..... i want a mobo for engineering applications. here are the softwares im gonna use (SOLIDWORKS,CATIA,ABAQUS Simulia,FLUENT,NASTRAN) can you please suggest me the best i can buy for maximum 350$?....thank you all

  • @siyamand the motherboard isnt gonna be the main factor for processing. the main factors usually come down to ram, cpu, and gpu for processing

the motherboard needs to be no more then adequate to support those as far as i know.

  • @Exgaves so you say i should buy a deacent mobo and get better GPU and CPU?

  • Comment removed

  • america man (biiiiigggg penis) japinese man penis verry small :(

  • Gee, kinda puts my 16GB's to shame doesn't it. =/

  • @TazarZero puts my 8gb to shame =[

  • @rangeit1

and makes my 528MB wanna commit suicide

  • @tommygun55544

LOL thats a weird number.. I heard of 521 but no 528.. you should feel happy xD

  • asrock!!! u so funny

  • why sould i got 24gb...4gb are pretty good..

  • @wowistas1997 24 is awesome because u will never think about ram again lmao and u are sure to run anything from now to next 10 years with a i7 990x ur ready

  • @BillieJean900 about that i will not need to update my computer you have right...that mean that if i got 24gb and the the game that i play need 2gb (WoW) so in the next updates i will need more ram(that i want to point its that you right and that i understand that you can play eny game with out update pc all time in the games update)

  • @razvancool2005 you using a 64-bit OS? if not thats normal, if you are thats also normal, windows uses about 512 mb of system ram at idle anyway

  • I use a program called blender 3d and I love to make fluid simulations, but it uses a lot of ram... so i'm recieving 16gb of ram. lol not very many reasons to have so much ram but I love the beauty of rendered water and other fluids, I'ts practically all I upload. very neet computer by the way it is amazing!

  • to chriss from asrock; perfectly demonstrated how NOT to hold a ram module; those systems work on 1.65 volt; a typical skin voltage is 10 000V .... when you touch someone and you feel a litle shock, that's easily 10 to 100 kV .... you hold them on the side :)

  • @christophelienard Yeah sure,i once short circuted my mobo by not being grounded and it restarted like nothing ever happened.

  • @GenuineMW2 short circuiting is not a problem; as then the potential difference is 0V.... exepct when there is suposed to be a voltage difference, (like a power socket ) then there will be a current from the positive part to the negative ..

  • @christophelienard no, there is a different voltage on (+) and (-) but in increments of 0.001v so anything is possible

  • @GenuineMW2 dude, i've spent my last 8 years as a student elektro mechanics and i'm in my tirth year for engineer, but honestly, what are you talking about ? what you say just does'nt make sense ... (and i know i made some mistakes concerning my english, but then again, that is not my native language . (0.001V=>1mV)

  • @christophelienard you said that touching memory moudles fry them.wrong and i still know more than you

  • @GenuineMW2 yes u know more ; great. now if you would have read it closely you would have seen that i said that it does'nt neccesarely hapen . ram modules are very strong; but there weakness is static elecktricity. but hey, if you trust yourself so much, go n rub 80 dollar of ram against your wollen pull.

  • @christophelienard wollen pull? and yes i have done it LOL

  • sweet mother of.... thats a freaking satelite !!!

  • 24 GB for just a desktop that you use for even hardcore gaming is stupidly overpowered and you won't even get close to using even a quarter of it on a daily basis... I've got 16 GB in mine, and running 3 Eve Online clients, multiple RDP sessions, 2 XP Virtual Machines, Skype, multiple internet explorer windows and I'm barely cracking 8 GB used.... This is meant for people who want to use a desktop computer as a less expensive VMWare ESX server instead of paying $13,000 for an HP server.

  • @rykk78 or for people like me who do fluid renders and 3d modeling.... i can easily use 24 gig .... then i let my pc render for 3 days or so and i have a massive fluid rende'r . now i have 12 gig and it's often full...

  • @rykk78 lol internet explorer windows?

  • @rykk78 >implying RDP uses any RAM

  • but... will it blend?

  • Tesla Rocks!

  • in the future we wont have hard drives...

  • He is sooooo cute!

  • @Hokrollo1

    Only fools think he's Korean

  • @Hokrollo1 Most every day users don't need that much memory (yet), but there are many things you do need it for, like content creation or running simulations or medical imaging and so on. Granted if you're doing those kind of things on a daily basis as your main line of work you're more likely to be running Xeons rather than the consumer i7 chips, which can be used in dual socket configurations and can use far more than 24GB of RAM. That's what the HP you found will use.

  • Comment removed

  • How about the ASRock X58 Extreme (version 1.0) with 24GB Support? Does somebody have such a configuration and can give some feedback?

  • It looks like a squid. LOL

  • how can i use all ram on 24 gb ram?

  • dude it rocks i have asus crosshair iv 16 gb

  • 24 GB of ram ? So it may run vista then lol

  • @cyberjackcyberjack lol haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa good one lmao

  • wow very Good

  • Lol I have 512 mb and a only use half of that.

  • @t2491tom So we know what your mobile/cell phone has, how much memory does your PC have?

  • @soundslave Lol I was talking about my pc. Linux only uses 256 mb.

  • ahhh, asrock, company which made Phenom run on nforce chipset, comany which wastes authorities, good....

  • nice ASSROCK

  • wouldnt say its best mobo out there

  • @lst2freak try the SR2

  • nigahiga

  • Linux > Windows

  • i have a question. Why do you use 1066mhz ??

I think its because it wont be stable with higher clocks. Like 24GB 1600Mhz rams

  • dios pa q tanto XD

  • That is so bad ass. Nicely done!

  • Hi. It seems like you know alots of stuffs about computers. Should this stuff be a good budget gamer PC?

    Asus M4785TD-V Evo

    Amd Athlon II x4 635 2.9 ghz.

    Corsair 4 GB 1333mhz.

  • @AznGoesWild wtf dude thats same stuf i got lol but i have g skill ram fasttttttt system good mobo and really fast processers

  • oh cmon.... 24 )))))

  • Asrock sucks .. ASUS for LIFE ! *Drive-by on your factory*

  • asrock..can you help me out.. i have just bought an intensity pro pci express card .. i installed this in my pc. my mother board is the G31M-GS asrock. when i try to start my pc it wont boot with it installed .if i remove it it starts up ok .. the pci express card is new .. thanks

  • can you test this computer with an Ubuntu 64 bits version, please? thanks

  • asrock are great boards at a great price

  • for GiyabUUYYYYTeee!

  • asain fuck

  • complete Noob Brand! 100% noobz , XD and on top of that no money to buy HD video camera Noobs!

  • lol why do I need 24 gb? :s :D

  • @fantasmaofdoom 10 years ago people asked me why u'd need 2 gigs of ram

  • I think I speak for a lot of people when I say, it would be nice if ASRock had a phone number that could be called! I received a motherboard that was having problems and I needed help...for two weeks I exchanged emails, and all the way up till the day I sent the board back. My problem was never resolved... I am receiving a new board in about two weeks..I just hope I dont have any troubles with this one..because If I do, then I dont think there will be much help.

  • god i wish manufactures would do some boards that arent always games intensive and think baout us encoders that need the mass power and performance.

  • 24 GB IS THE MINIMUM TO RUN MINE SWEEPER

  • You definitely do not want to handle memory modules in this manner. You need to wear a static strap, etc.

  • No end user or gamer, or even a video editor like myself, will ever actually utilize 24GB of RAM. Would be useful if you're using partitioning RAM drives for maximum performance with some programs, but other than that, 99% of users will never utilize more than 6GB.

  • @xilix i got 96gb on my dell and 32on my macpro so 24 is nor a lot

  • I'm glad you're using high quality operative system on this. =)

  • hahahahahahhahaha...... ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha..... using ASRock and Supercomputer in the same sentence is like comparing Diamonds to my shit. I have had 5 ASRock motherboards. all of them high end. All of them different models. All of them from different suppliers. ALL of them were faulty. ASRock is truly the worst motherboard manufacturer in the world.

  • @SomeGroupProductions So what I get from your commentary is, you are either a liar or you are completely retarded for buying 5 motherboards from the same manufacturer after receiving several poor quality boards.

  • this is a super computer >_>

  • So can we run crysis on this thing?

  • how much?

  • @Justinwongformobile 1700 usd

  • the mac pro can handle up to 64 gb of ram

  • @bodyboarder3452 but who wants a rotten apple when you can get four new windows / one new flag

  • @raketenDK wait hold on lol apparently the new mac pro coming out this year can handle up to 128GB of ram lol but i know yea macs are over priced

  • @raketenDK And who wants Windows that break easily when you can get a cute Penguin to cuddle with instead ;)

  • @Slurfs Indeed i love that cute little penguin :D but aparently the programmers and game makers doesnt :'(

  • @raketenDK True... the sad thing is that if people who are fed up with windows actually did something about it instead of just keep using it game makers would perhaps look a bit more into the alternative. Sadly that is not going to happen the next five years I believe.... but remember: GNU/Linux have come from "nothing" to where it is now. The most used OS on supercomputers and since todays supercomputers are tomorrows "normal computers" we can only hope :)

  • @bodyboarder3452 if you have 64gb of ram you have way to much ram you do not use it and windows 7 64bit can handle up to 1 exabyte (1000 terabyte) but no motherboard can handle that much ram

  • @theundergroundforces theoretically, 64 bit OSs can handle up to 128 GB. And I'm quite sure after tera- comes peta-. (thank you 3001...)

  • ASRock Server

  • I don't like KINGSTON , they don't care for customers, the SAV is a disaster, they don't replace items when you do a mistake ...

  • dous it works on windows 7?

  • Hi,

Yes, you can use 24GB in Windows 7! And reminder that you may have to use 64 bit OS for memory over 4GB.

    Your Sincerely,

    ASRock Inc.

  • @ASRockInfo no 64bit os for memory over 3gb

  • @ASRockInfo I was thinking that 64 bits were used from 4 gb for above it is to say if I had 4 gb in version of 32 bits only it would recognize me 2 or I am wrong?

  • @ASRockInfo over 3 most of the time

  • @ASRockInfo there have been some problems with the os seeing that 24g, some times it thinks it only has 16g in windows... btw WHAT THE HELL needs 24g of ram?.... i ever go over 3.5g on games or any thing else.... seems like a waste of money for some thing that wont even help you

  • @ASRockInfo HELP ME PLEASE! I have an ASRock P45X3 Deluxe on windows 7 x64 ultimate and i have only 3.44 Gb physical memory available from 4.00 Gb.How can i use all of it (4.00GB)?

I don`t have any Memory remapping option in BIOS.

    My specs are: q6600 at 3.6 Ghz, 2x2024 GB DDR3 1600 Corsair xms3, Ati Radeon 4890,WD Caviar Black 640Gb

  • @okeistm u also need to go to bios and make it flexible mode. Orelse it will be 16gb max.

  • @okeistm I've heard Windows 7 64 bit will support up to 192 GB!

  • @M2zokker 128GB is the known max right now.

  • that computer is insane 24 gb of ddr3 at 1066 and quad sli wow! does x58 support amd processors?

  • kingston 12gb triple channel ddr3 1333mhz vs

    kingston 12gb triple channel ddr3 1600mhz

how much difference?? is it big imprvement?

  • what a hell???:O:O

  • ASRock sucks !!

  • @Sekcja0serowa lol i know but i dont know as rock lol not used no one else and most of them asus or gybite evga best one then this asrock

  • you got so much graphics cards and you are using apple ..........

  • so its btter to have higher capacity or less with faster speed?? 1066 seems slow for ddr3

  • @zayres29 well u wants about 4gb for a home pc now really and 6 gb when using the i7 but as long as u got that its speed u want in a home and defiantly in a gaming pc!!! 24gb is only ever going to be of use if u use really high end professional programs as you are asking im guessing you dont!

  • i have 12 in my current computer and its rated at 2000mhz buti can only get it to run at like 17xx before it wont recognize all of it

  • @zayres29 have u tried using just 6gb (3x2gb) and seeing if can get it to run 2000mhz im guessing it cant get the power to run 6 sticks at 2000. i know people have problems with high speed ram on the i7 any way something to do with the voltage and the timing in the memory controller in the cpu there some good thing on it on the internet try googleing it.

  • @BigBadBadger1 that does work but i have 12gigs it seems pointless to only run 6 if i have 12 so i just leave it all in and run it at 1600

  • does 4gb is out on storeS?

  • wow........°_O

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!! I love ASRock !!!!

  • Shame you did not show how long it took to boot.

Would more memory speed loadup time?

  • No a faster hard drive would speed up boot time

  • what about using a 2tb sata 3 hardrive as ram

  • it would be very slow, even if you can connect the drives as RAM XD

  • what the hell does the average user need 24 gb of ram?

  • video editing in HD..

i have 6GB ram and i need more, idle 4GB usage

  • server

  • For alot of reasons, one or two reaons would be:

    1) 3D Modeling & Animation: If you are creating a high-quality model and want to animate him/her/it in real-time.

    2) Video Game purposes, or even video editing (I know that sounds redundant lol).

    I hope that helps.

  • @chachee99 I said that 12 years ago about 64 meg. SInce then, I don't doubt anything when it comes to the future needs of computer users.

  • So...can I play pacman on this?

  • @xyugi0007 kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk -.-'

  • @xyugi0007 kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk troller

  • @xyugi0007 yes but without the aa

  • @xyugi0007

yeah it will play pac man lag free i hope, my 6 cores and 4 gig ram still have trouble rendering its insane graphics

  • @xyugi0007 yeah, you can play PACMAN in Full HD and MAX graphics in 3D on your 120Hz screen!!!!!!! SICK!!!!111one

  • @xyugi0007 No, but it can play pacman sounds!

  • @xyugi0007 yes, the pacman 3D in VGA mode :) jajajaja

  • @xyugi0007

no pacmans to epic for this amount of ram XD

  • @xyugi0007 maybe ...maybe not

  • @xyugi0007 You fucken genius XD

  • hahahahahahahaha

  • @xyugi0007 no

  • what kind of ram is that?

    what's the model? triple channel?

i couldn't find that model on the Kingston site

  • it is triple channel 12GB kits x 2

    6 x DDR3 1066MHz 1.5V

    its corporate ram not retail

  • No difference

  • Linux all the way! But dude, where is the wobbly windows?

  • bro ur smart as hell but u talk funny mayne, im playin

  • massive

  • lol why in the world /who in the world except u would run linux on a 24GB ram/i7 core computer man! Dam u got money for the pc but no money for the os? download windows 7 beta dude! nice vid daught! 4StarZ

  • omg....u must be kidding...the majority of servers use unix based os....80% of them or more...the rest use apple software which is unix based too...:)....nobody who knows a thing for pc's use windows.......

  • windows is not servers dumb ass. Its like saying no body who knows a thing about car use a boat
