Cannonball style game would have been awesome. Even if its not possible to model 3000 miles of road, i bet they could have came up with some randomly generated track inbetween as fillers. Plus they can Google maps information or something to help the engine generate the terrain.

Okay, this game looks like straight up crap. Obviously some of you guys think it also looks like crap. The fact nobody mentions how this game looks like crap and even say things like "I'm Looking forward to playing this crap" makes me loose a little respect for Inside Sim Racing =\ BLACKBOX Studios has dissapointed me with every one of their NFS titles.

Hmm, I was hoping for something like Cannonball (I think that was the title), where you would choose a vehicle and race from the one side to the other, even with some stops of course. After the video released and this one, it looks more like a mission based game where each mission is a race of perhaps a few min length. Serious let down. Crazy Cars series had games like that, I am pretty sure today we can do better...

@666patrickbateman666 The series had quite a few failures and it still kept going. People WILL keep buying NFS games, just like they keep buying CoD.

From what I've seen, The Run looks like an average arcade racer with the addition of quick-time events. What a refreshing new feature...

From now on I am just into real SIM racing like RBR and SIMBIN's 07.

Much more enjoyable than all those silly racing games.

The longevity of "racing games" is nothing compared to real racing SIM's

Think about it, RBR came out in 2004 and is still the best racing SIM around.

I bought Shift 2 and Dirt 3 at the release day but both games are already starting to feel really lame and repetitive compared to RBR.

The only thing is: You GOT to have a good wheel and pedals to get the full potential out of a sim like RBR or SIMBIN's

@666patrickbateman666 I agree, but Shift 2 and Dirt 3 (now that I think of it, the physics have felt weird in every Codemasters' game since... Toca 3?) are very poor examples of racing games (in my opinion).
