  • Family Guy was right!I definitely hear the whistling in his voice.Sounds like a steaming kettle.LOL

    On a side note,Dan is correct about how news is slowly steering away from what's important to inform their viewers to entertainment.

    I'm not saying we shouldn't have comic relief news but it's just gotten to the point that people are more interested now on ex-dog show or the circus coming to town.

  • I'm fascinated by the phenomenon. I've seen some people who pronounce their S's like this for their entire life. But in the case of some people who never did it before, it seems to be something that comes on with age. I think Charles Kuralt did this, but the BEST living example I can think of is none other than Paul Harvey. He does precisely the same thing.
