@Rockman1047 depends on how you look at it. it has cool new stuff like random events in the item world, but the story is crap compared to the first one. so if you favor the gameplay over the story, youd enjoy it no prob.

anyone know if this game will make it onto PSP? i got the port of the first one and i'm really enjoying it and was wondering if this one would be released on PSP as well

Actually NIS said it's going to port Disgaea 2 over to PSP recently. The game will have Magichange feature (from Disgaea 3) and probably other stuff I don't remember right now...the game will release on March 26 2009 in Japan. I dunno when it will come out in NA, probably late August as always.

I think its was the choice of makeing adell the protaganist. what makes disgaea stand out from normal RPG is the backwards amoral logic, wich adell dosnt have. YES Disgaea 2 is a REALLY REALLY good game but story wise its not as fasinating as 1 and 3

i have "disgaea 2: cursed memories". it costed me 500NOK = 71$ . i bought it in norway so i think its more expensive than in the U.S

Part 1 seems to have a better gameplay if you have ever tried it... also play Disgaea Portable if youa re a big fan of this game, and play other games from this co.

Its on the Disgaea 2 OST which is only available through the Japanese Limited Edition version of the game. Try checking the Disgaea community at Livejournal to see if anyone has the OST uploaded.

Actually as it turns out Laharl-sama is in the second game but you have to unlock him and he joins the quest later on in the game like towards the end plus also you should know the reason why he shows up so late is cause he's @#$%^&* Flonne who is now a fallen angel for letting in demons to heaven from the first game so now she's a demon and Laharl and Flonne are now lovers...yes you heard me right LOVERS...funny isn't it.
