While exclusive homosexuality is by no means common in the animal kingdom, many individual animals have been documented to form life-long same-sex pair bonds. Homosexuality, in the sense of of being predominately attracted to the same sex, is not unique to humans. Does forming a life long pair bond the same as forming a homosexual relationship? Is a friend the same thing as a lover? Then you would've known that all fetuses start out as female and THEN either develop male sex organs or continue to develop into female. While exclusive homosexuality is by no means common in the animal kingdom, many individual animals have been documented to form life-long same-sex pair bonds. Homosexuality, in the sense of of being predominately attracted to the same sex, is not unique to humans. Being bisexual does not mean that an individual will have an equal level of proportionate attraction between members of either the same or opp. sex.

I know homosexuality is a lifestyle choice, or more of a sexual preference, because I have seen so many who have been straight, suddenly become gay, then back to being straight again. It's confusion. They become deeply depressed, and not because of societal pressure. There are the odd few who only seem to have same sex attraction. I just can't accept it's only nature.

Then you would've known that all fetuses start out as female and THEN either develop male sex organs or continue to develop into female. The reason why homosexuality happens is because of the amount of sex hormones that the brain is subjected to during development.

@wikiburp Religions don't try to find the truth. They try to enforce their own ideas as the only truth. Society generally wages war, not debate; only when restricted from physical conflict does it resort to the verbal form.
No matter what the cause for any sexuality is, the (well-established) point is that it's not voluntary, and it is no justification for hate. Anything beyond that isn't relevant to the discussion.

@wikiburp I know I'm heterosexual. I know I've never been sexually attracted to men, and have no reason whatsoever to believe I could ever be - and I know the same thing applies to a vast majority. So yeah, I'm going to conclude that sexuality is involuntary. It could not be for an exclusive minority, so that knowledge appeals only to at least the majority. Unless you can document even such a minority (or more) are capable of choosing their sexuality, this remains probably universally accurate.
