CPS should come to that bitch's house. She actually talked about the suicide murder of her young child in front of her. Also in front of a camera in front of millions. I guess she assumes her daughter can't hear and or is just stupid because she has autism. These are all shitty parents and an exploitative money making organization
My mother raised three autistic children and had an autistic spouse, and she would NEVER have said the kinds of things these people said. Yeah, it was hard, but she accepted it and lived a happy life. She didn't medicate us, she learned how to communicate with us. One of my sisters also has cerebral palsy, so my mother reoriented some furniture for her. It's the same principle. Parents need to be taught how to adapt to their children and learn their particular cues. That would be good for all.
Syndrome. They have also gone further into looking for a prenatal test in ADHD, dyslexia, etc. Mostly everybody has at least one of these disorders running in their genes, so if they try to look for a cure for all neurological differences, which are just different personalities, they will wipe out mostly everybody. So, maybe you should do your research before you think "anything that gets the message out is worthy." Because, using intimidating ads as a way to wipe us out is not one of them.
So, you are those people that say "it's normal for parents of children with autism to have thoughts of murdering their offspring." Well, it's not. And if you think Autism Speaks is a good organization for autistic people, then I hate to burst your bubble, because few of the money goes to a support system that you want, and the rest goes to making stigmatizing ads and documentaries like this, and a possible eugenic screening for autistic fetuses like babies with Down's cont.
While I appreciate what you have to endure Gam....that is absolutely LUDICROUS!!!...Any thing that can get the message out is worthy. This is supposed to be about the condition (severe or mild) not an individual!!! To attempt to garner attention is an affront to those of us that care about this cause!!! I am a single father of 2 autistics (2 and 4) That has NO SUPPORT SYSTEM!!! But thats not really what its about is it?.....Be a supporter or be quiet!!!!!
