Sin embargo es clara la capacidad del Domingo para interpretar tanto Arias de Barítono, como para Tenor Drámático (Die Walkure), Lírico (Rigoleto), hasta para Tenor Ligero (Les Pêcheurs de Perles). La gama tonal y la técnica para lograr dar los registros necesarios en cada opera, hacen de este cantante uno de los mejores el mundo.

Por cierto, la mejor interpretación de esta pieza, en mi humilde opinión, la hizo Sherill Milnes.

I've never been a big fan of Domingo as a tenor, but this video explains to me why his voice is suited better to tenor roles than baritone roles, perhaps with a few exceptions (Boccanegra is fairly well fit).

@PLAZOLAS1 Precisamente es un baritono atenorado. hahaha El comenzo cantando piesas de baritono pero como su rango estaba mas alto y su voz un poco mas ligera que la de un verdadero baritono, entonces sus entrenadores le sugirieron que cantara como tenor. Es por eso que es un tenor dramatico.

Very poor projection and no squillo even on a studio recording?! And of course unclear diction. Typical Mingo; crap even when performing as the baritone he is. Don't bother with this crap and listen to a real version like Leonard Warren's or Robert Merrill's.

He initially started out as a baritone, and later began singing tenor. He is now singing some baritone roles again because as he's grown older, the register of his voice has gotten lower, and it becomes more suited to baritone roles. His voice is beautiful no matter in what range he sings.

(I also put O Isis und Osiris on youtube,a bass aria....still I am a High C tenor and sing Di quella pira and Che gelida manina on youtube.) I get some jobs because of the videos,I think....
