  • now show me ya tits...WHAT !!!O_O

  • Well I'll admit that the quotation marks on that card were a questionable decision from the card author. But when you read it, I just got the feeling that it was a card from say a step-mother (woman that's married your dad after a divorce), who was saying just a lovely message to her would-be-daughter.. the message in itself, regardless of the relationship the two of you actually had at the time, seemed one of love and thoughtfulness.

But I can understand how that would generate awkwardness

  • that's beautiful.

  • Best card ever :D

  • Yeah I'm saving that for the grandkids - 'why doesn't Granny Wendy love us, or ever visit us?'

'Well kids, it's because I'm not really her daughter...'

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quotation marks! I almost can't believe it.

  • I couldn't either. I looked at it, paused and said, "Am I adopted?"

Everyone laughed confusedly until they saw the card.

  • so.. you're not adopted? and.. she's your biological mother? I guess my point is moot then.. if that's the case then she really did just pick the wrong card for not wearing her glasses.. sorry if i wasted your time with my interpretation

  • Yes she's my biological mother and was there all along. No time wasted - I read fast;)

  • Made me chuckle.

    "Daughter"

  • Yeah it wasn't a Hallmark card though - guess they leave the awkwardness to Carlton...
