I own a DC-5 as well. I have never had any problems with it besides just the occasional tube switch. But that's not a problem, just basic maintenance for it.=) Great playing. What settings do you have on the amp?

What are you using for delay? Are yu running anything besides delay in the effects loop? I used to own this amp. I loved it, but it was quite noisy. Are you using a noise gate of some sort?

Nothing on it,except delay,and it sounds great and versatile,wherever you play.
