I really just dont understand, its like someone coming to me with a Death Cab For Cutie cd and says I dont want it to sound like hiphop, and at the end its just an egotistical rapper trying to stand apart from others. Find rare samples keep instrumentals progressing...period.

@Polacoste This is completely different than the Grey Album, Jay didn't have to spit a single lyric to make the Grey Album... This isn't an artist mixing his old album with a Beatle's old album that have nothing in common...this is an artist paying homage to another artist by trying to capture the feel of his music through a different genre. and @soneoo I don't see where "ego" comes into this... he didn't want it to sound like your everyday loop, how does that make him egotistical?
