It is rationed out based on ability to pay, after the "reform" it will be rationed some other way. Everyone seems to ignore this reality. The modern GOP is not a conservative party. I consider myself conservative and I disagree with the GOP on nearly every issue. They are big gov, big business, SOCIAL conservatives which is a new thing (well, new since the 80's). Supporting climate change solutions is bad news for big business and that is why the GOP argues.

Climate change solutions would actually HELP the economy, while damaging the big bus that has been robbing us blind, through the legislature, for decades.

Let me give an example. Right now, since oil is so cheap (partially because of tax subsidies), big business is able to grow cotton in the US, ship it to China, have Chinese workers make clothing, ship it back to the US then truck it to a local store. If the true price of oil is realized, it would be more economic to make the clothing HERE and we could compete with Chinese slave labor. Big international bus interests would suffer, but fuck them.

Moronic things like compact florescent lights, however, are very wasteful. We send shit to Malaysia or some shit to make the parts, then ship the parts to China where the CFL's are made, then ship them back to the US, where they are unloaded from ships and then trucked all over the US. CFL's are absolutely MORONIC and an example of how not to fight climate change. The worst part is that most home lights are only on at night when there is excess electricity being made.

I can't watch HTWW's bullshit. I just can't do it. Him and his cronies refuse to read published climate change science journals and fail to comprehend that if climate change's critics actually had a sound argument that aligned with science and the facts, they would've already published dissenting peer-reviewed journal articles, but they NEVER HAVE. There is hardly anything REMOTELY close to published journals that disagree with the fundamental findings of climate change science. They lose.

So what's he doing?

HTWW is using a variation of the what sales people call the "testimonial close", along with what a con artist calls "exploiting good faith".

HTWW starts with a nugget of truth, then leverages BS around it, points to "testimonials" in the side bar, which in "good faith" he hopes very few read.

The thing that amazes me about HTWW is how readily his own sidebar links can be used to call him on lying.

The internet is essential infinite, since information is posted faster then can be read, and yet it's easily googled to find that perfect piece of "testimony"; and so you'd expect HTWW would be much more deceptive in his lies. The fact that he does not disguise his BS well, indicates that he values time and money more then his publically displayed personal integrity. Very near sighted.
