Man, it seems like the Sonic games never left the tradition of having awesome music in them. Just go back a listen to a Castlevania 1 track compared to Lords of Shadow, you'll immediately find the difference :P.

I'm sorry, bud, but I have to disagree. I feel SEGA did a wonderful job on all the stages, though, I do have to wonder why they thought it was a wise choice to have palm trees randomly sticking out of cement on the bridge.

@Jkid101090 I think that when I heard that City escape was in Generations i thought it would be exactly the same stage, but with renewed graphics. You see, I think that this new engine they're using for the new sonic games (Well, all sonic games after Sonic '06) sucks a lot. I mean... Have you played SA2 or SA2B ? The difference from these new games is too absurd to comment... The old engine was MUCH better.

I just think that the new engine makes it less enjoyable because all you can do is turbo to the goal, the game doesn't allow any freedom to enjoy the scenery or anything like that. I Think they killed the epicness because I already had very high standards for this stage, having played SA2B and it being my favorite Sonic game, as well. You have, by chance, played any Wii sonic games ? The engine sega is using on the new games is killing them... HORRIBLE.

Not at all. If anything didn't I show in this video how open the stage really is? I tried, at the very least. And yes, I loved Sonic Colors. I loved SA2B and it's engine but the Sonic Unleashed Engine is good too.

@Jkid101090 Colors was nice, but the whole "eggman randomly becomes a good guy and opens a theme park. let's go there break everything up because he's (obviously) lying. yay" thing seemed kinda like a forced story to me...

I just can't get to like the new engine, man, i think they should make a SA3 (well, considering Sonic heroes SA3 and Shadow the hedgehog SA4, a SA5) using the same Engine as SA2B and see how it would go.

The new stories are terrible, I will agree, but I find playing them fun. As much as I'd love a new Sonic Adventure game or a fix for Sonic 06 I can enjoy what they're doing now.

I like the fact that this game stole CoDs classes(skill sets)and perks(skills),and they made it better too.I also like that they made Super Sonic usable in stages other than the final boss,but on the other hand,the ring countdown speed is unfair because its 2x fast as it is in the final boss,and you dont have ring magnetism like in the final boss either.Cool though.I like the fact they cut out Unleashed's ring magnetism,it makes it more challengning,but its annoying at times.Super Sonic FTFW!!!!

i hate super sonic his ring count goes to quickly ring should home in on him like the boost in sonic unleashed and when you free fly this should be amplified you should also be able to do just a normal boost that is endless and hold both triggers and boost for flying you should also be able to quick step into more rings

@DanDaMaN95cov the thing with modern's ring count is that notice the boost gauge really doesnt go down too much the reason the ring count is faster is because super sonic's power relies on the rings as well as the emeralds so the rings count as another boost gauge which is more realistic.

classic was always and invincibility sheild with a paint job and theres a lot more platforming which is y u can't go as fast but if u had a straight path u would be going just as fast as modern.
