I was in the cell phone biz in 1984. I remember the $3000 Motorola bricks and the first "car phone" installations for docs, real estate agents, and city personnel, and the curly black antenna. I carried around a heavy suitcase phone, where most of the suitcase was battery. I thought I was Mr. Cool calling folks by the pool! Gotta go, battery's going down.
