Allies can use their bases to attack the horde camps and launch fighters, and can board the zepplin convoy by stealthing into the base and replacing the prisoners, man-cannoning onto zepplins, and landing fighters on them.
Pretty cool, mixed tactics with a time limit, but a battleground more extensive than AV. Idk if this would be better as an occasional world PvP or a real BG, probably the world-PvP. Also, each zeppelin in the convoy has a different purpose and can be destroyed, right? Like comms, command, armory, fore guard, aft guard, main hangar, something like that? Love the man-cannons btw. Technological gnome-punt from a mountaintop. Gnome of death charges in mid-air, dealing fall damaage on enemy. :P
Sorry, that was supposed to be a reply to shortmidget, not sure if it worked correctly. K, furthermore, players replacing prisoners will move automatically when launched (temporarily without gear aside from daggers, which can be hidden) from the prison camp hanger and into the jail until they deselect the control buff as to make them indistinguishable from AI. When they pick or break the locks, they can eliminate the guards and steal back their gear.
TBC was a fail, it upset the balance of things it caused many classes to loose power, it was difficult to obtain gear, the pvp was boring if you where not a power class (i.e rogue/mage). but WOTLK will fix all this

While this Wintergrasp thing is great, everyone is going to get so bored within the first few months.. It will be the same stuff over and over again, in the same setting, it's also very hard to pull this off without collision in PVP.. a massive zerg of people can just run right through your line and kill your healers. If they put in collision, and add this to more zones, I'll consider playing again.
This looks fun and all but isn't WoW sopposed to be based in a more mid evil dated era? It will sort of lose it's theme if they keep adding this futuristic stuff. I'm probably going to enjoy myself playing....but he's describing this as a Halo or war like game...I hope it still keeps it's fun, good old WoW game play.
nothing can take WoW down its to far into the game for something else to top its popularity. i have a level 60 NE druid and you cant expect me to just leave it behind while i go to play WAR, no, ppl who play wow will always stay although there will be some who leave, majoity of the players will stay..
