Nice but I'm always surprised that people think that this style of playing is inherently more difficult than standard playing. Its in essence playing the piano. Its not easy, but its also not mind-blowingly difficult. (I'm a sucky guitarist and even I can play around with that style)

As for the song, the problem with the tunings you see these players using is they rely on them as a drone and, regardless what melody is played on top, the song starts to sound repetitive in a lot of places.
