I was at this game and so disappointed with some of the calls. That major call on Adams still has my head spinning. I'll be at the one on March 17th and can only hope it goes better for the Pens.

refs are not going to let us get any breaks for as long as we have matt cooke or unless the bruins get payback on us on the 3.18 rematch game. pretty shitty deal if you ask me, but i guess that's how the nhl operates. if this were happening in any other sports league it would be a total joke.

the refs obviously were trying to send the pens a message about cooke's hit on savard. they're going to make it so they can do anything they want to us without fear of being called but if we do anything they'll call it every time. i hope they start calling things fairly after the rematch with the bruins on the 18th because this would be a total joke if this is how they're going to officiate penguin games from here on out.

That misconduct was outrageous. It was close to not even being icing. It does take a second to react after you hear the whistle. Seems he even let up a bit. Absolutely bogus.

It turned out that the actual call was for a high stick on the puck by new jersey. If you watch closely, Letang's dump-in was tipped by #24 of new jersey and the ref gave the signal but nobody knew. But I still agree that the call was excessive...
