I was there in 1980, and it was an unforgetable night...Looking at this, it was for sure another unforgetable night...I had just seen her in Del Mar the night before and didn't have the funds for this show....now that i see wht i missed I would've begged and borrowed!! Donna Summer and the Hollywood Bowl go together like hand and glove.

Wow, what a great job capturing the fireworks. Thanks for doing it. Our work literally "goes up in smoke" so it is nice when it can be saved, like this.

Plus, I never got to hear the audience react until YouTiube came along.

This takes me back to her 1980 TV Special, when she sang HOT STUFF and the place was filed with fireworks! It's 30 years later and the voice is as powerful as ever!
