the tricky part is..to recognize sweet cravings and resist these. Which pretty much means a starving diet for approx 2 months in combination with caprylic acid garlic and oil or oregano.(Something doctors won't tell you when they prescribe heavy duty anti biotics) The last bonehead doc I visit told me "some alternative doctors believe in yeast"
odd I've read and heard that drinking a couple of teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water per day is very beneficial...are you saying that vinegar adds to candida too?
@bluelotuspetals If you have leaky gut syndrome, which I would bet most candida sufferers do then vinegar of any kind is bad until you heal your gut. Leaky gut is too much 4 me to explain here, I recommend you look it up. Once the g.i tract is healed then acv can be re-introduced.
this is ridiculous!! i've done the candida diet for years and it's not doing the diet thats the problem ITS THE FACT THAT SOCIETY DOESN'T RECOGNISE, ACCEPT OR SUPPORT SUFFERERS LIKE ME TO STICK TO IT SO WE ALWAYS GIVE UP AND RELAPSE...AND WHEN I SAY 'GIVE UP' I MEAN JUST ONE, YES ONE!! 'BAD' SUGARY FOOD OR ALCOHOLIC DRINK SETS YOU BACK TO ZERO..IT'S TRULY ONE OF THE MOST CRUEL AND ISOLATING CONDITIONS...
I have it, you're not alone, and I feel exactly the same way. Im a personal trainer and have metioned the condtion to many clients including some who were diabetic. They all saw great improvement and healthy weight loss by adopting a candida type diet that I suggested. I know what its like to not know where to turn with this condition. I do believe with precise actions you can rid yourself of it over time. I know they say not to use dairy but I make home made yogurt and it works.
@GEARHEADCT What do you tell your clients to eat (and what do you eat) on your candida diet? I am having a hard time figuring out proper fats/carbs/protein ratios (% perday) and what exactly to eat. I'm also a personal trainer, but I feel lost with trying to cure this! Thanks for your help
@BaileyParkTownhome I would try mccombsplan com. Im actually on his plan right now. There is a diet and supplement regimen on the sight. This diet is pretty much what I use. Before doing this plan I once made home made kefir and yoogurt and then did the plan and had pretty good results.

Most of spices kill candida. Cayenne is a prime example.

Chromium picolinate has been linked with digestive problems and even some form of cancer. I used to take it.
