I think you need to learn to count. November 2008 was little over 14 months, not 2 years. Second, the President has 2 1/2 months to get his transition team in place and select his advisers and cabinet members. He doesn't take office until the 20th of January. Third, if you wanna say that Bush did noting the last 5 months, then that is on him.Even though he is a lame duck, he is still the one and only President and we can not have two, which is why we call the incoming one the President -Elect.

Second, the President has 2 1/2 months to get his transition team in place and select his advisers and cabinet members. He doesn't take office until the 20th of January. Shout outs are part of a culture that's surrounded by guns drugs and violence. I know it's just my opinion but I don't think they have any place in the vocabulary of a U.S. President especially when he was about to speak on such a delicate matter. He goes way too far to give the appearance of being a regular guy which I don't think is necessary.

Now, It probably would not have been my choice to do it, but I don't think this was really a shout out. I shout out is something fools do on the radio and in front of news cameras to get attention when it has nothing to do with either the topic or situation. And other than Obama being black, I see nothing that comes even close here.

Whats even more disgusting is that more Americans aren't pissed off to their very core about it! What more does this man have to do before people say OK enough!
