  • Goodness, what are you running over there?? An aggressive dog mill?? The Tosa is nice, but he's not fully trained right? Otherwise you wouldn't need that extra chain holding him back you'd just need to say the word and the dog stops.

  • It's funny how some people are calling the Mastiff breeds slow...I'm sure they wouldn't be saying that when the dog is running behind them about to tackle their ass.

  • @Iamsupermansohah well as a general rule anything larger moves slower, but when it comes to 4 legs vs 2 legs....well.... LOL

  • I have personal protection Tosas as well, it irritates me when uneducated people blame me for teaching my dogs aggression. I do not teach them anything, I let them channel the aggression they naturally have in a controlled way. My dogs are very well trained, jintiya's description of guard dogs is perfect, that's exactly how my dogs are and that's exactly how I view this type of training. I love this video :)

  • I thought there wasnt any tosa left, i read they died out after japan had an economic crisis.... so when they tried to bring it back there wasnt enough breeding stock so they had to mix bullmastiff and such.....

  • @Taud Tosas almost died out in Japan during world war II, but some breeders and owners saved dogs enough to recover the breed, and also imported dogs from Korea, previously brougt there douring the ocupation. This is the only time that something like this have happened during the history of the breed

  • @jintiya Yeah it would have been the war that caused the economic crisis than makes sense, right now though they still have food crisis so if there is any left theyd have to be interbred in other locations, its a cool dog tho id get one, maybe akita as well

  • @Taud SEARCH THIS AND IT WILL TELL YOU WHAT THEY DID "Part 3 - The History of the Tosa Fighting Dog Post WWII"

  • @titaniumonkey that didnt explain anything.... all they said was there was less than 15 tosa left in the entire world at one point....

  • good dog awsome power = up to one super high powerfull dog the -------> TOSA

  • he looks slow only bcus hes being held im a pit owner but damn this breed is great im lookn 2 get 1 sum time soon this1 is tall and strong

  • Its a great guard dog,My tosa killed a bunny and broke almost all the bones

  • thats a tall tosa inu

  • no mate a tosa will kill a akita no swet

  • a highly agressive dog is not un unstable dog, cause he loves his family and never attacks them...

  • yea but he can attack others cant he? other people the owners dont want him to attack.

  • only on command. dogs normally attack when they feel threatened OR if they feel their family or "pack" is threatened.

  • We do not train our dogs to attack people, this tipe of dogs have strong protection instints, these can be active under certain stress conditions, by training them we put rules and control over that instint, the dog must never show agression with out the order of the owner and he must release prey just after beying ordered. An agresive and unstable dog is not a guard dog, it is a problem in your house.

  • I would like see your breeding stock because our next dog is a tosa, we have had two akitas and now want to move to its bigger country man....cheers from Canada

  • @jintiya Very well said.

  • To big and slow??? The mastiff is slow the saint bernard is slow....the great dane is slow...but the caucasian isn't slow at all..I don't say i am right, but if u ever vill own or encounter a caucasian ovcharka uwill see it for u'reself ;) just do it ans see

  • ya , pretty slow until its running away with your arm in its mouth, you must be a pitbull fan

  • :)) i like it cause u all know much about dogs...i bett the majority never had one ;) i do no about tosa...but it depends on the dog and on the circumstances..the Pit bull and Tosa beying the besf fighters(in the ring and outside of it) is just a stereotype a bullshit..every dog can be defeated...every dog can be a good fighter or guardian..

  • lol? its not attacking people.. its protection so people dont attack you.

  • TOSA whould own every dog in this planet, Pitbulls, rotwiler, amastaff , Turkish kangal you name it....

  • @Idrisarona lol, yea you have never seen a turqisuh kangal... seriously

  • just watchin this, i could feel the dogs bite power, its mouth is huge.

  • Every time someone post a dog with fighting history, someone else always has to mention another breed or animal as being tougher. Who gives a flying fuck! These are all great dogs. Why not have a tiger in your backyard so you can claim you have the toughest animal on the block. Who gives a shit!

  • if you drop a Pitt into a yard in there is a Caucasian Ovcharka, the pitt will be completely eliminated...you all can be sure of this

  • The Caucasian Ovcharka is to big an slow. Nice dog by the way.

  • Not only Tosa's kill pitt bulls...Central Asians and Kangals ,Caucasians...and many more...it's normal for tosa to win against Pitt bulls, cause the'r much bigger and heavier...but i don't think that they are so good against bigger dogs,or big like them

  • You sound extremely ignorant, well not ignorant, but lacking knowledge. You sound like you read dog bio's and look at pictures and make your assumptions. The size of the dog can go out the window when it comes down to dog fighting. You are allowed to bring any dog you want inside the pit. The dogs that excel in the ring are bred for the ring. Your basically saying a 300 pound man can beat a man weighing 150, your one of those guys that believes size wins. FALSE!

  • The biggest bite force has the dog with the bigger head...not just the jaws...the muscles for the bite force of a dog are on the back of the head...and there are many other breeds who can kick the ass of a tosa...so if u don't know notheng about other dogs shut up...

  • Please list these breeds, and offer some tangible evidence to your bite force claims. BLanket statements prove nothing. Do you have any actual facts and figures?

    Just asking

  • A Dob or a Rott? Both would be dominated and humped if not totally ignored for lack of any real threat. As for Fat, these are about the leanest large bread there is if raised properly.

  • No way, Dogo Argentino's & Canary's are much leaner. Same with an Akbash.

  • Tosa is far larger than the Dogo or Canary and most Akbash (depending the line) And yes all these breeds are lean. However I'm comparing to other Giant mastiffs, and related the statement to a WELL bread and properly raised Tosa. Which will be as lean as any of the dogs you mentioned. The problem comes when people want there dogs to be larger than they should so many (pet) Tosas end up fat. A "fight" bread Tosa though will be very lean.

  • REAL Akbashes are GIANTS.

  • fuckin hell... big fucka aint he

  • there aleglle in england

  • a doberman are rot will tear this dogs apart

  • A Doberman & A rott?

LMAO you ignorant fuck, keep your uneducated mouth shut.

A Tosa would rip either one of those breeds to shreds.

  • they not breed to fight there to dam fat

  • you can have it in UK as long as its neauterd and spayed and all that maddnes. check out my dog though

  • Interesting, i thought they were totally banned.

  • Tosa's generally are not great guard dogs as they are dog aggressive and not human aggressive. Not to say they can't be trained to be great guardians but an untrained Tosa just like an untrained dog aggressive pit do not make for a natural guard dog.

  • very wise post, most people dont understand that making a purely animal aggresive dog into a HUMAN aggresive dog is a tricky bussines and unless your a World class defense trainer, you are better off getting a Breed that was MEANT to be Human aggresive, instead of going against a breed's genetic nature

  • does anyone know if this dog would be good at protecting their owner from abusive Police, bailiffs, Council-Tax collectors, TV-License inspectors and that type of stuff? I'm not interested in having dogs fight each other, but I'd love to train my dog to be aggressive towards authority over here in the UK.

  • They can be great guard dogs, they do love there masters and will likly defend you on instinct. However are not technically guard dogs, they were bread to fight. As such they will get aggressive with any police dog. They are illigal in the UK though.

  • not illegal

  • does anyone know whether a pitbull or tosa inu is a better one on one fighting dog( dog vs. human or dog vs dog)

  • pit bulls are superior through longer breeding(though only about 65 pds fighting weight), and when they fight its up to a 4 hour battle, i HIGHLY doubt that any dog as large as a TOSA could fight at a fast pace for that amount of time

  • Suprisingly they have amazing endurance for such a large dog. The best "fighters" being at about 130 or so. I do however beleive most Tosa fights are limited to 30 minutes. I may be wrong wiht that point. Both beutiful dogs with intesting history.

  • PitBulls are pussies.

I can name 8 breeds off the top of my head that would habe NO problem with a retarded pit.

  • That video is an uncontrolled study of 3 dogs... hardly provides any useful info. Fun little pseudo experiment is about all it is.

  • Theres a video on here that compares the rottweiler, german shepherd & apbt biteforce.

Rottweiler did seem to have an immense bite force...

  • There is NO peer reveived publised data which acuratly describes bite force of various dog breeds. All information currently available is anecdotal. Rotts, fila, Tosa... all beautiful dogs, just comes down to preference.

  • 1. Tosas are legal in the US and Canada. Matsu kennels, stonewall, phrsyd, toshi, etc. all breed and sell tosa legally.

    2. Wher do you get these so caled bite force rankings? and how were such measures controled for?

  • I have a male Tosa. You can't even speak loud to my woman without him going on alert. Kitte kudasai- The Tosa is the ultimate in canine technology.Jubei the Tosa and I-Ching his Tibetan Mastiff brother will be protecting the family from leopards in Namibia soon.Great video.

  • Rottweiler, Fila Brasileiro > Tosa

    Nice dog still tho :)

  • Rofl, nice fantasy world that you live in.

  • There are a lot of other big dogs with strong bites - e.g., Boerboel, Dogue de Bordeaux, Neos, Tibetan Mastiffs, Korean Dosas, but none has the stamina of the Tosa. Johnson bulldogs are also athletic, but the Tosas are the gold standard. APBT has awesome stamina, but they're not this big.

  • holy shit i never seen the dog rip off the arm guard before lol

  • im pretty sure the guy let it go

  • they bite harder than any other dog breed. There bite is considered to be stronger than a african lions. By far the strongest jaws in the canine family. That sorry ass Micheal Vick would win alot of money with these dogs. They beat seasoned pitbulls in japan 95% of the time. It is a horrible sport and it needs to stop. These animals are placed on this world for us to love and they to serve just look in the book of Genisis. Love them dont fight them.

  • considered by who?LOL I love how people make ridiculous claims all the time to support their opinions

  • fighting sucks but without it, Tosa and pits would never haefv existed.

  • Don't screw with tosas!

  • adamı götünden siker bu yaratık!!!!!!!!

  • Is that Cesar Millan?

  • Cesar Milan does not train dogs to be aggressive.hahaha. Tosas are not allowed in the US.

  • powerful dogg.... gota admit that

  • yo quiero uno pero aca no se consiguen

  • Yo tengo cachorros, si de verdad estas interesado podemos hablarlo.

  • el problema es que estoy en venezuela

  • u can see the tosas power
