Minecraft: BuildCraft Tutorial!

I used Magic Launcher to try to install BuildCraft.When I add the mod,Magic Launcher says "Ok".But when I go to test Minecraft says "Minecraft Crashed!".

Can someone help me?PLEASE!

@TheBuyna How many engines are you using? I had to use three stream engines to power it before it started working.

i found a way to bypass the "clock"..

sit a combustion engine next to the item.. them fill it up with fuel and put a lever nearby it so it can operate:) voila

@umbaupause no, it would try to recreat it, but unless there is iron or whatever ore in the other part, it will not. it doesnt Duplicate items

Hey everyone,

Sorry for any confusion, its just that my version of the clock was able to work way back in Minecraft Beta 1.8, and now since they updated Minecraft, it does not work any more. In the video description I posted a link to a site where there are some clocks that should work in the latest version of Minecraft. Hope this helps you all.

@cyrielroelofs Redstone engine, combustion engine or steam engine. If you google buildcraft, I'm sure they have a wiki to show you how to craft one. Once you have it, place it by a quarry, put fuel in it if it is a combustion or steam engine, and apply redstone current. The engine should start to work, and the quarry should start to form. Note: make sure there is some way you are going to cool your engines, because sometimes they overheat and explode.

To everyone who is having problems setting the quarry frame up: Use a engine instead of a clock. I used a older version of Buildcraft so there were no engines.

@CrossZiggy Wood engine can't power a quarry.

Stone engine runs on coal.

Iron engine runs on oil, lava or fuel (refined oil), and must be cooled with water or it will explode.

Engines can be stacked in line to speed up the quarry.

You can also use electrisity to power a quarry, which is just a way of connecting engine to machine over long distance that allows you to have a big bank of engines that can superpower your quarry to better speeds.

I have the same problem as thesoulgardian, I make the outline, I place the quarry(It changed colors, from red to the yellow and black), then I made the clock (for some reason the redstone torch burned out so I had to make a different one using 2 redstone repeaters), connected the clock to the quarry with redstone, and the outline (orange tube thing) isn't being created...can anyone help?
