@FrostBoom change the website url in the general settings page. All you do is delete what is after .com (.net, .org, etc.). Keep the Wordpress URL the same.

i've had a lot of trouble trying to figure out why the install page wasn't displaying.

domainname/wordpress/wp-admin/­post.php

i had to add the extra "wordpress" into the url.

If something appears saying something about a 5 sec. cool down and that no more than 5 connections at a time are allowed, change the SPEED LIMIT!

1. Go to Transfer ---> Speed Limit ---> Configure...

2. Change all to 10000 or higher ---> Click ok:))

hey gigafide, something really important: I had an installation issue with FileZilla which was because it said I didn't have the "rights of an administrator" and it was solved just by lauching FileZilla.exe in Administrator by right-clicking on it. More people must have that issue too. Good job by the way.

@stso18 a blog is a website. there's static websites and dynamic websites. a blog is a form of dynamic websites. if you're looking to make a static website, i've already done a video on that. it's much easier, but it's pointless to make one if you're going to be generating a lot of content and updates. A blog is the only platform that fits for a lot of content. I don't know why you would "hope" for me to show you how to make a static website when it doesn't at all fit with the series.
