And Vasilis Was So Overrated. I Mean, If That Blade Had The Power To Slow Down Opponents, Give You Strenght Boosts, Make Your Emotions Expand And Most Importantly Slay Even Gorgrog. Why Didnt Patton Just Tell The Knights To Get It In The First Place? And Come On, The Army of Light Cant Even Kill Gorgrog and Kendra Just Comes And Slays Him With One Slice? That says Deus Ex Machina All Over The Place. And Why Instead Of Searching For The Artifacts Didnt The Sphinx Just Ask The Singing Sisters?

@silverespioshadow Nobody but Patton knew the singing sisters could help find vasilis so the Sphynx couldn't have gotten it, plus the sphynx had the occulus at that point and didn't have to ask the singing sisters for artifact loactions. Patton also couldn't have just suggested for the nights to get Vasilis because only certain people were powerful enough to use it correctly ( like when Bracken said he'd be able to use it, just not to it's full power ) also it makes sense that only kendra and...

So, theoretically they were the only mortals powerful enough to use it and since they'd already talked to Patton back in time before the events of this book he chose them over less trustable sources considering in that time period the nights of the dawn were still shady and run by the sphynx.

Fablehaven COULD have Been The Next HP, The Plot Was Awesome, The Setting Original, And The Imagination Was At Its Finest. But The Characters...Oh My God. They Had No Depth. I Mean..Trask, Warren, Elise And So On... They Werent Really Important And You Didnt Get That Bonding That You Got With ,Mad Eye Moody, Fred And George, and Kingsley. Even Kendra And Seth Failed SOmetimes. And The Ending Was So Wimpy..I Mean, All The Hardships for NOTHING?! The Last Battle Felt So Easy...

What I don't get is why Seth and Kendra don't get any shadow/star blasts. They get talked about by magical creatures all the time as these all-powerful semi-magical beings. At yet they have no offense powers.

speaking of the artifacts, I always agreed with that dragon who greeted Kendra and co. at wyrmroost in the fourth book. He has a VERY good point. They have the Olucus so if even if you manage to get the translocator, they'll know EXACTLY where you hid it. The odds of them getting the artifact are WAY worse if you just leave the damn key at Wyrmroost.
