Its also interesting that Chris appeared on Ralph Emery's show considering how terrible Ralph treated the Byrd's after they appearded on the Grand Ol Opry in 1968. The song Drug Store Truck Drivin Man was written by Roger and Gram about Ralph.
It's interesting to note that it was Chris Hillman who discovered Emmylou Harris back in the early 1970's. He saw her performing and told Gram Parsons that she would be the perfect fit for Parsons' solo career.
Glad she was discovered as well. I saw Chris Hillman in an interview and he told the story of how he discovered her and immediately told Gram that he had found his solo career accompanist.
Chris is such a nice man. I've run into him in drugstores and gas stations and he is warm and gentle in disposition always. I can't think of any guy I'd like to sound like more than Chris- Keep singing Buddy!
I wish they had ANY type of music shows on..... these country shows were great..

Great video - I saw Chris and Herb here in San Diego recently (April 2009) and they sound just as good today.

I read that it was Rick Roberts who found her. But no matter, the important thing was the finding.
