The song "Poor Man's Moody Blues" is a masterpiece.

I highly recommend every album by the Barclay James Harvest

This isn't a Moody Blues song. It's a Barclay James Harvest (BJH) song based on "Nights In White Satin" by the Moody Blues.

The song is called Poor Man's Moody Blues because the press used to refer to BJH as the "poor man's moody blues", because their music style was quite alike.

Tired of those comparisons, they wrote new lyrics and used the basic melody behing "Nights In White Satin" to create this song, which they named "Poor Man's Moody Blues", just what the press used to call them (BJH).
