Why do this sort of clips always arise the debate whether it's real or not? Of course it's real, in some way or another! A better question would be: What mechanicms come into play here?! I for one see very good sensitivity, sticky energy, and what is commonly known as lin kong jin. Lin kong jin is not the same as telekinesis, mind you, and I guess it involves both sensitivity and psychology, as well as chi. from my limited knowledge, the two players above are practicing sending and receiving force. Look at it this way: the older fellow, the master (he`s a pretty good one) is sending force from the ground to the hands. His whole body is acting as a well-connected spring, compressing and decompressing himself towards the opponent. The receiver is also acting as a coordinated spring. The jumping is because the force reverberates through his whole body, down to the ground. Hope this helps
