Her solo records is an 80's dance album and she wanted it to be a ND record and the boys didn't want it to. They stopped making ska because it's a claustrophobic genre after about 10 years.

No I am not working with ND. You know it's sad, but I think that they will not go back to the hardcore ska sound. As cool as ska is, the market is small. I think that the label looks at the $ sign, and ska isn't a big money maker. But, lets hope I am wrong. Chris Leal (the original bass player) and myself are forming a true roots ska band. We have Eric Stefani and Rick Bonnon (the keys for The Skeletones) agreeing to co-write / produce and record with us. It should be pretty cool, I can't wait!

You never know, with the right marketing ska could replace all popular sounds today, haha. But the whole thrill of having an almost avant-garde sound is exciting for me.
