Unfortunately due to sound restrictions they are not allowed anymore (in general in Europe). But indeed we (as an Ostend resident) were a big IL-76 operator.
Activity now is limited. But once in a while there can be a nice moment, like the Antonov 124 coming (for that: see 'Antonov 124 EBOS', it's part of my videos).
Good to know of people visiting our airport to see planes.
Saw these operating from Ostend some years ago. I was there on a day trp. Nice piece of history, thanks.
