If we take the focus of of Christ, then our churches will not be blessed, and like everything else in the world, will go corporate.

Absolutely hilarious. If you are offended by this, get a sense of humor. I didn't see any conservative or liberal slant to this and I'm a pretty hard-core supply sider. Humor is humor. There was no lecture about owning things. It was just plain old play-of-words for the sake of getting a smile. And he did it well. I do this with songs in church, but this guy is light years beyond my ability to come up with funny ones. Great job!
For an "American Government Hater" like Tim Hawkins, you'd think he'd understand that his way of thinking will make it much more likely that corporations will indeed take control of everything that we hold sacred.
He can make "funny songs" about this trend. But, in essence, Hawkins backs it. He hates our government and apparently doesn't realize that the main purpose of our government is for common defense against any group that would compromise our freedom just to make more money.

@BountyHuntFH95 I don't think he is making fun of either. What is wrong with man made hymns? God wants us to praise Him in every way. I think he is making fun of how companies will do whatever they have to to get people to buy their products.

Absolutely hilarious. If you are offended by this, get a sense of humor. I didn't see any conservative or liberal slant to this and I'm a pretty hard-core supply sider. Humor is humor. There was no lecture about owning things. It was just plain old play-of-words for the sake of getting a smile. And he did it well. I do this with songs in church, but this guy is light years beyond my ability to come up with funny ones. Great job!

For an "American Government Hater" like Tim Hawkins, you'd think he'd understand that his way of thinking will make it much more likely that corporations will indeed take control of everything that we hold sacred.
He can make "funny songs" about this trend. But, in essence, Hawkins backs it. He hates our government and apparently doesn't realize that the main purpose of our government is for common defense against any group that would compromise our freedom just to make more money.
