I don't follow religion. And look, I am actually in favour of the IRA so don't get me into that, and the reason to why they took Ireland was because they wanted more profit, not because of religion.
Theres hitting him once and killing him instantly, and theres bashing him to pieaces and letting him die after days in agony in hospital. I hope that makes it a bit clearer for you to sort out in your head.
All in all the above seems well put together, im merely pointing out that the sentence seems very awkward and unduly subjective, so maybe consider rephrasing that.
And all the Protestants were sitting in luxury? Listen, most Protestants suffered the same dicrimination by Stormont, Most Protestants were poor and forced to live in unfit accomodation etc etc. Nationalists also ethinically cleansed many areas including Upper Falls/Stewartstown Road/Twinbrook, Ardoyne and many other parts of Belfast, Coalisland, Londonderry and plenty more places. Yes Stormont was wrong but Nationalists were not all'Lily White' Stop playing the poor little catholics, its tiring
I agree alot of working class prodestents sufferd to. But not in the same numbers than catholics and not just because they where prodestent. There were prods in the civil rights movment too.
In reality Protestants were as badly off as their RC neighbours but Protestants put up with it as to get rid of the Stormont regime would be disasterous for them (or so they were told) They were also too blinded by loyalty. There were many Protestants involved with The Civil Rights Movement at the start (founded by Ivan Cooper, A Protestant) but many were disillusioned when Apprentice Boy parades became targets. I just think when your potraying the past that you shouldn't airbrush things out.
Yes your right, i apoligise. I should have mentioned that. I dident mean to airbrush it out, its just the mental ''prodestent/catholic'' divide was in my mind while making it.

Too bloody right, these people came over here taking our homes, farms and livelihoods, Catholic unemployment was double that of others so don't apologise to this guy for telling him like it is. As you see they try to destroy everthing nationalistic with their thumbs down. Truth is they hate Catholics and always will
N. Ireland, was a deepy fractured state from the outset Calls for reform were met with state terror, those for reform were hounded out of office by "Big Ian! " "O'Neill must Go" Then the use of state forces by stormont and westminster to repress the minority bypoured petrol on the fire and lead to the military conflict that lasted for decades! Secure jobs were for the majority community "H and W" Shorts, Mackies and Sirocco! which never employed a catholic in the middle of Shorts strand!!

That is not true who had the jobs at the shipyards and in the shops. I remember as a kid going in to cuddys in magherafelt and a job was advertised as "no Catholics need apply", futhermore they had to introduce positive discrimmination int he civil service as it was so biased toward s Protestant employees, so don't say you had it as bad, you didn't!!
