I'm considering starting a blog, to eventually include videos, to raise awareness for a local issue - not to make money, and I'm trying to get a feel for the whole vlog thing. This video has 9700 views, 18 votes at 78% likes and 6 comments in 6 months. How do you consider this kind of response to your video; Fantastic, Encouraging, Eh, Discouraging, or Failure?
I enjoyed listening and watching your video about different goals for bloggers. Well done.
I blog in several areas: one to help people, one to make money and one for fun. This is a good formula for me. I like to educate, but I also want to write and show what interests me on a daily basis.
I'll check out your other videos since you are new to me. BTW, my fun blog is pausethatrenews(dot)com. It's all over the place.
Great question Darren! My blog is actually now my business that I'm looking to grow. Although I can see how it can be a stepping stone as I too have been approached by a couple of people to do some full time work for them. I've politely declined as my passion lies in what I'm doing now. =)
Well I recently did research about Computer Science (my dream career) at school, and was interested in the Web Author position that falls under the Webpage Designer career path. So already having to discover about blogging a few months back it was a win-win deal. I love writing, and I love artwork and graphics. Therefore I believe I know my passion, although I'm not entirely sure, but it seems like it however.
I've just been blogging for about a week. I'm researching the whole thing and learning. I see this blog as a stepping stone to other things
