Riccardo Muti is one of the best conductors on Earth. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and Muti are a unity, because he is often in Vienna and Salzburg. I prefer him more than all the other very good conductors. His sensibility for music is extraordinary.

@ALYSSA09MUSICSTARS Yes! He is also one of the most underrated, I think. You hear often of Bernstein, Karajan, Solti, Rattle, etc, etc, but many of Muti's recordings are among the best available, I think. In many places he blows Rattle and Karajan out of the water (especially in some Germanic music).
