  • so can i buy a 14.5" upper and it says NFA rules Apply. with the intention of getting a shurefire comp welded on to make it 16". what i want to know is that is it ok for me to buy the upper online. or do i have to get a gun shop to get it for me?

  • @JulioCHernandez You can get the upper, just so long as it's never attatched to a lower while under 16". I did the same thing, since I'd have to pin on a brake anyways for New York State.

  • What was being demonstrated was a phenomina known as "bump fire." Any semi-automatic rifle can do it. The trick is to have a loose grip on the trigger so that recoil will allow the trigger finger to release the trigger long enough for the sear to re-engage. When the bolt returns home, if done right, the forward inertia will be sufficient to pull the trigger for the next shot just as the bolt returns to battery position, simulating fully automatic fire. Not illegal unless the gun was modified.

  • Fuck the government. Should have had the star wars music playing too...
