AZ law requires that any inmate sentenced to a day more than a year be transfered to a state run facility IE florence or lewis (the place in buckeye) perryville douglas safford phoenix ect. the only exception is Agg DUI which caries a 4 month sentence in DOC otherwise less than a year = county time in Arpiao's jails.
