If people start breeding dachshunds specifically for racing, this is going to be so bad for the breed. I can't believe people who love their doxies would actually take part in this. Let's not forget, they're not designed for this, so if you love your doxie and want to do some active stuff, try tracking, hunting, or earth dog compos. It's what they were designed for and what they'll excel at.
