  • WOW! Love the sense of humor behind this. I could not help but laugh some, but with the music and everything else, I could not help it. I loved it!

  • Glad you liked it! We had fun making it. I'm glad you laughed.

  • thanks for laughing... I'm glad you likeed it.

  • Hey,

The Rangers seemed to really go out of their way. What a pity that the National Park/their employer isn't looking out for them! I expect there is a get out clause if anything went wrong, to absolve them of responsibility for the Rangers because they helped!

Did you send this to them?

What music is used on this?

Thanks for posting this video. I am a full time chair user and although I live in the UK, the issues are very, very similar.

Thanks for posting, it looks like a beautiful area.:)

  • The Rangers were great. I sent a link to a lot of folks in the park service... not just this beautiful location. The music was all over the place. Mr. Bungle... Carl Stallings... Alabama Boys... and Secret Chiefs Three. I'm glad you liked it. There is more to come.

  • hi,

Thanks for the reply, I look forwards to other vids. I had to laugh when they said the museum opened at the back for easy access and then we saw you guys struggling as it hadn't been tested properly! I think they think we can manage a few steps etc..but obviously there are those of us who can't walk at all.

Thought the Ranger was funny when she was saying "its long...wide...SAND"... ;)

    Catch ya later, K

  • also mean to say that LOVED the editing and music..However, I would have liked to hear more of what was being said btwn you lot and the Rangers etc..:) perhaps I am too nosey!

    cheers, K

  • This was a great video! My brother is a Ranger on the Island I saw that he was being helpful. I know changes would be made if the request was made. My brother is sensitive to those who have challenges. My son uses a wheelchair also. I loved the music!!! Continue your journey!!

  • Thanks to all the rangers who bent over backwards to help us. The video was made nearly 18 years after a federal mandate to make our national parks accessible. The rangers shouldn't bend over to lift 500 pounds of man-in-wheelchair onto the boardwalk. The risk management folks in the park service's workers compensation carrier would say simple changes need to be made to make the island accessible to avoid the greater expense of injury case management due to back trouble. Thanks for your feedback

  • Thanks for sharing the experience...i wish i could have gone with you guys. i really regret missing the trip. i can't believe the accessibility issues you guys were gonna have there. Good job though! Bring some awareness to the people who "think" it's all accessible.

  • Thanks for watching... You can come on he next one. Seems I seen a few of your videos round these parts.

    : )

  • This looks liek hard work with tounge-in-cheek humor ending in a good time. Nice video.
