  • @TheGamer732 Aha Dann musste andere marsche anderer Länder anhören dann weiste was gute sind du spasti eh !!!

  • It was the music played during our presentat-arm at the ceremony of the military oath!

  • TOP

  • Auor stammt aus Bomen so wie Radetzky.

  • the allies call themself the good guys in WW1 disgusting......

He was of Russian origin, he first and last name purely Russian, he was a Slav, Slav race crashes, and the Germans came from the Russian Slavs, Slavic Aryan empire, but russophobes rewrite our history.

    Nice!

Das KuK Reich... Schade das dieses Land verschwunden ist.

  • Principe Eugenio di Savoia-Carignano.

  • Sie kennen ihre Geschichte, Wolfi!

    Geschichtliches Unterricht ist immer interessant.

    Also: danke!

    Schöne Marsche!

  • 295 years ago, in 18th octomber 1716 the prince Eugen enterd in the city of Temeswar/Timisoara, ending an era of 164 years of otoman domination in Banat. His memory it's still alive in Banat.

  • Holy shit!!! I discovered a worm box of wackos here!!! There are still normal people dreaming with an Austrian Empire? Hahahahaha, wow!!! I hear them talking like in my previous incarnation in 1766, hahahaha, of emperors and God's appointments, wow! I'm speechless!! In the 21st century still thinking like in the 17th!! BTW, the Turks are still some thousand times more powerful, militarily and economically than Austria and Hungary combined, and you can throw in the insignificant Poland too.

  • Of course Turkey is more powerful. Their GDP is 2 times and their population 10 times bigger. Austria only has 8 million inhabitants and is ruled by political correct politians. I don't want any kings, but we must stop this shameful decline of our culture, Why not set up a political union of Austria, South Tyrol, Croatia, Hungary, Czech republic, Rumania, Slovakia...establish one central power and try to regain some influence. Our borders are a joke, we have lost our will to rule

  • @AustrianAtheist Gut gesagt! Gruesse aus Zagreb, Kroatien!

  • @AustrianAtheist Turkey is killing german culture! And our so called leaders are just letting it happen! Sometime in the future we will see back and ask our selves "why didn't we do anything"

  • Don't blame the turks, it is our own fault, our own culture is in decay. (low birthrates, no discipline, consumerism, too much individualism...)

I understand your argument, but we need a cultural revolution, using foreigners as scapegoats will only prevent real changes. We have already had much bigger problems, so I am 100% sure, we will achieve the necessary.

  • @AustrianAtheist You mean Austro-Hungary again i am whit you greetings from Croatia

  • @AustrianAtheist I am a Czech and I think It was better those time.

  • @AustrianAtheist You Sir, are totally correct. Yes i like that idea.

  • K.u.K the last real empire! Where power comes from God, and not, perversely, from demos

  • wunderbar

  • Eugen saved Europe from turks, but so called democratic governments let them freely in.

  • Vive Savoie-Carignan !

  • 1453 ISTANBUL OSMANLI cCc

  • He was NOT Austrian, for God's sake!

  • @signorellil

  • @signorellil

Doch he was related to many european royals, also german ones!

  • Der war Gut Eugen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • terrific video. it taught me a lot, thanks!

  • How do you know so much? I love history! Make more videos!!

  • Awsome History lesson!!!!

  • This is an awesome historical narrative. If only there were a movie about Prinz Eugen and his military career

  • @SantaFe19484

    Thank you for your comment

    best regards

  • Viele Grusse aus Kroatien! Lang liebe Oesterreich!

  • Jetzt brauchat ma erm nu amoi =)

  • HAIL to the Holy Roman Empire, hail to the Austrian Habsburgs!

For centuries we defended Western Europe against the Islamic hordes... What a shame that this has all been reversed in less than 70 years and western Europe is now being conquered by the barbarian muslims with other methods than war... :( All those who gave their lives throughout all those centuries... Was it all in vain, then?

  • @helvete1991 Europe is still occupied by the american forces and Unites States is controlled by the zionists, that's why.

  • Long live Austria, Our Motherland! From Lombardy.

  • Schöner Ausflug in Österreichs Heldenzeitalter!

  • Trianon WASN'T based on democratic referendums(general equal & secret ballots)The"national councils"were elected suspiciously-way,without any local documentations. WHY? Czechs don't trust in Slovaks(because very few slovaks joined/supported the"czechoslovak"army against Hungarians(Slovaks were 48%).Romanian politicians didn't trust in Transylvanian romanians, perhabs they didn't want to join to backward poor romania(romanians were 53% in Transylvania).Serbs were minority(22%)in Southern Hungary

  • you did an excellent job here :)

  • As a Turk, I must say, my ancestors' enemies composed fantastic marches.

  • @crazycamel345 - great that you like the music - best regards

  • @wolfi31281 To you as well.

  • @crazycamel345

    this is awe also :)

    watch?v=jJzZBQ8jmvw

I'm from Serbia between two great XVIII empires... i write book about 1716-1718 war...

  • @Micowiny

thank you for your comment and also the link. Turkish military music had indeed some influence on the development of military march music in Austria. Wish you great success for your book.

Best regards from Austria to Serbia.

  • @crazycamel345 long live the fatherland!!

  • @crazycamel345 the prussian marches in my opinion are a bit better but hausburg marches are also very good

  • @crazycamel345 we were also your ancestors allies in WW1

  • As a Turk. I must say, my ancestors' enemies made fantastic marches.

  • The more I listen to this, the more I like it!

(And the Belvedere is just plain gorgeous! I hope I can go there one day.)

  • Prinz Eugen is a hero for all Europe and one of mine too. And, BTW, the Slovenians were always loyal to Austria. Even after they won independence from Yugoslavia their was a serious movement to reunite with Austria but the Austrians said "no thanks".

  • @BuschTek LoL. Where did you get that information about Slovenia reuniting with Austria? Slovenes had just enough of that ever growing Serb centralism, do you think someone would have wanted Austro-Germanic centralism to emerge again. Not to mention the extension of Austrian capital and their corporations which would occupy Slovenia which had significantly lower life standard.

  • @SloveintzWend Oh don't get your panties in a wad. It was something I either heard on the news at the time or maybe I read it someplace. I try not to remember that far back, it hurts my head.

  • And about Slovenian fault for collapse of Austrian empire (slovenians were 3% of KuK population, so much about your scientific facts): on the rock at Monte Chieso, it writes: "Hoch Habsburg- hrast se omaje in hrib, zvestoba Slovencu ne gane" (High Habsburg- oak and mountain are shaking, but Slovenian loyalty doesn't move)

  • @TheFulgoRex lol what a fairytale are you living in?First of all,Slavs were the ones who suffered the turkish imperialism on their back.Turks didn't invade Europe by sea, did they? No, they came on land.2-both Habsburg and Turks settled additional Slavs in the yugoslav region with purpose of defending borders, they were free peasants and payed soldiers in the time of war. 3: How many times were Turks at Vienna in 500 years? And who helped saved Vienna? Italians maybe? And ww1,italy won any battle?

  • p.s. Handsome chap the prince, I bet he broke a lot of pretty ladies' hearts! :)

  • Great historical information, a fine old march,What's not to like about this video?

    Thank you wolfi31281!

  • @GanarfGeorgie - glad you liked it - thx

  • @Rotkehlchen748 nur der süden lebe hoch, oben leben doch nur ketzer! >.<

  • Principe Eugenio di Savoia.

Savoia is the italian royal family.

Unfortunally Austria and Germany were allied with Turkish during the WWI.

Along the centuries the Repubblica di Venezia always fight against Turkish

(we have destroied the Partenone where was a turkish deposit ).

We have destroied the turkish in the 1911 with the italian turkish war and in the 1918.

  • @TheFulgoRex nations of habsburg empire fought against turks for their existence, not venetians, hidden safe on italian penninsula. italians only fought them to control trade in east mediterranen. And who was calculating on which side to join in ww1? and who changed sides? and joined entente powers? italy!

  • @fuzinho1

the slaves of Hausburg empire weren't good soldiers. The turks are arrived at Wien thanks them. The importance of Kosovo for the Yugoslavia is depending of the history against turks. After the war against Turkey of 1911 Italy coulden't be allied with them in the WW1.

The WW1 is ended and Austria colapsed due the bad slovenian soldiers.

Only the Italian Prinz Eugenio di Savoia, Venezia and Italy have won against turkish.

  • @TheFulgoRex LoL Turks arrived at Vienna using the other way. Ask Hungarians how Turks managed to get trough them? Only thing that could ever got trough Slavic defenders was simply a quickly formed raid party which returned before defending army could be formed.

  • I wish we could bring the Austrian Empire back...heck even Prussia too I simply love the continental empires..and no one can blame us for meddling with non european people...I would even learn to speak german...damn those were the days of heroes and glory...too bad that's gone forever. The lords of the Moravian mark are loyal to the throne!!! :P

  • Looks like a good kisser!

  • Great salute !!!Fur Kaiser, fur Fatherland!!!

  • Questa marcia veniva suonata nelle sfilate dell'artiglieria a cavallo italiana prima della guerra

  • Great!!!

  • correct, franz joseph was emperor of AUSTRIA and king of hungaria (K & K Monarchie)

  • @Vanderjahn you was allied with turkish durring the WWI and into waffen SS there was turkish at the end of WWII.....

  • virius unitis - austriae !!!!

  • Viribus Unitis - which means "With United Forces" - was the personal motto of emperor Franz Joseph I.

  • nobody wanted her

  • The Austrian Empire under a demoncratic monarchy presided over by the Hapsburgs should be reformed, greater safty for the countries of that area of Europe!

  • @steveforsane

actually that was churchill's and roosevelt's idea after ww2 but the russians were too quick

  • @steveforsane

No it should be at last reunited with Germany to form a strong german Kaiserreich.

  • @steveforsane you mean a parlamentaric monarchy like in the UK

  • @steveforsane Totally agreed... And add the former Southern Netherlands (modern-day Belgium) to that too :)

And fuck (tschuldigung für das böse Wort) the Turks!!

  • C'est magnifique!

  • VIVAT Austria! VIVAT the noble House of HABSBURG! My forefathers were soldiers of the Empire, so I am also, for their sake - an kaiser-traue!

  • Three cheers to the noble Prince Eugene! A true hero!

  • Heil Prinz Eugen!

Heil meiner Urgrossvater der K und K Husar von Budapest!!!!

    Servus in K und K!!!

  • Excellent, informative video. HEIL PRINZ EUGEN!

  • @FreiKonigsberg i just shit in my pants

  • We need another Prinz Eugen!!FREIHEIT FUR EUROPA!!!!!!

  • I think that Radetzky march is better.

  • Yeah, notice: SEPTEMBER 11 - Prince Eugen defeated the Moslems at Zenta!

  • The Croatians were there with the Prince too!!

  • thank god they were there, we needed every support we could get

  • :-) thanks for you comment Gutsy9

Viva Polska ! Viva kroon prinz Otto von Habsburg ! :-)

  • First respect for our great lider in Turkisch war for HM King Jan III Sobiesky ! :-)

He command to battel again turkisch troops from Kara Mustafa aroud capital city of Austrian Keizerreich after him also secund great lider and fieldmarschal is our dear prinz Eugen von Savoyen - Carignan and count of Soissons. He make my dear Austria again big power in Europa :-)

    Regards

    Stanislaw v. A - P

  • It is beautifyl to read your sentiments, Stanislaw....so obviously composed in English with great effort!

    Vivat Polonia!

    Hoch der Kaiser! Hoch Habsburg!

  • Yes, How Right you are, we must overcome old

differences and stand together and save our

    Homelands.

    Kaiserliche: 21000 Soldaten; Sachsen: 9000 Soldaten;

    Bayern: 10500 Soldaten;

    Südwestdeutsche Fürstentümer: 9500 Soldaten;

    Polen-Litauen: 24000 Soldaten.

  • Great march!

From Andalusia (Spain): long live Christian Europe!!!

  • danke fürs hochladen!

  • Toller Marsch.

Sowas könnte heute keiner mehr komponieren.

  • It's really nice that somebody remember that in 1683 polish troops fought to for free Europe.

Viva great king Jan III Sobieski.

  • Thank you for your comment. Be sure that many Austrians do remember.

    best regards to Poland

  • Great recording, great march, excellent historical background about "the noble Prince Eugene". It is a SHAME that Nazis ruined this kind of music, and that neo-Nazis use it. Thanks for the post.

  • thanks for your comment - I fully agree with you

  • I m, too.

  • Ja - so kann man sich irren :-)

  • this is the greatest military march ever written, and this has to be the best recording of it I've ever heard -- must be a military band, anybody know which one ?? (probably some 3rd Reich Wehrmacht Band, but we can overlook that, it's so damn good ! ) also, excellent video accompaniment -- a fitting march honoring Prinz Eugen, who saved Europe from the Ottomans -- here in the USA, we love Prinz Eugen and we love his Marsch !!!

  • The military band performing the march here is the band of the traditional austrian Hoch- und Deutschmeister Infantery Regiment, which was famous in the times of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. This video, Prince Eugene, and the whole story told here has absolutely NOTHING to do with the criminal bastards of the 3rd Reich and its wehrmacht. Quite to the contrary. For the rest of your comment I agree - this is a very fine piece of music - and Prince Eugene was instrumental to the rise of Austria.

  • excellent, the Hoch & dm regiment band did a superb job -- I thought it was ironic Eugen was born French -- thank you for sharing this video / music / history lesson with us

  • welcome - I am happy you enjoy it

    best regards

  • The prince was born french but from two italian expats....He always signed him as Eugenio in mails!

  • In fact he signed

    Eugenio von Savoy

using italian, german and french - so he was a true european

  • Yes, a true and great european.

  • Dont forget his grandfathers mother was a daughter of King Philipp II from Spain (so he had spanish and habsburgian roots2)

  • Don't forget Britain, the great ally of Austria in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. I believe that Prince Eugene was at Blenheim with the Duke of Marlborough defeating the French and Bavarians in 1704.

  • thank you for your comment - you are quite right. On August 13th, 1704 the battle of Blenheim (in german Schlacht von Höchstädt) was fought at the the height of the War of the Spanish Succession. I a brilliant move the Duke of Marlborough managed to move his army 250 miles (400 km) across Germany to meet the imperial and austrian troops under Prince Eugene and together defeat the French and Bavarian armies which were almost wiped out that day.

  • eugen von savoyen was not only a great military commancer but also took personal initiative.

during the battle of belgrade in 1717 he personally lead a cavalary attack to prevent an turkish breakthrough.

    respect

  • The Archenemies of Catholic Europe, the French and the Turks.... What is a real pity is that the French succeeded in recruiting a few anarchist losers in Serbia (the black hand) and assassinate the archduke Franz Ferdinand, a great danger to French interest due to his excellent efforts to develop the modern Austrian naval forces in the Mediterranean.... The French could not understand that Austria never had colonial interest.

  • wow, I didn't realize the French were involved with the assassination -- if they were, it was obviously very stupid of them -- basically destroyed their own nation

  • this is great, very hanoverian

  • za domovinu i kralja krv prolit valja!

  • Zivila nasa hrabra vojska !

  • Grazie sig. Principe. Lei e Montecuccoli avete salvato l'Europa!
