the NEX more for video. its seems that NEX-7 video can sweep the floor with the average color/resolution/contrast NEX-5n. It is so?

I'm confused. I read Steve's article: ISO WARS: Sony NEX-7 vs SONY NEX-5n – Full test with crops, and thought, based on the sample RAW photo crops, the NEX-5N video in low light should outperform the NEX-7, however, when I compare this video with footage, namely, Sony NEX-5n HD Low Light HIgh ISO Video Samples, the NEX-7 footage looks much better, and the compression artifacts, whilst there in the NEX-7 footage, are not nearly as bad as the NEX-5N footage. Now I can't decide. Help! Thanks

Did you use the in-camera stabilization?

@Olphus There is no in body stabilization with the NEX but there is OIS in the 18-55 kit lens, which is what I used.

@maddox52 maybe, i'm pretty sure they have many some units, but it's no where near to the maybe 1 million units they expect to sell initially. so it is up to them on whether to release the small number of units already made and have the select few who have preordered get them, but it's very unlikely
