@wcpelle Luulisin että ne on harjoituksia varten. Harjoitus taisteluissa ei käytetä enää värikuulia vaan ne on korvattu laasereila. Laiteet kypärässä ja liiveissä rekisteröi mahdolliset laasereiden osumat ja ilmoittavat jotenkin sotilaalle että tämä on "kuollut" tai "haavoittunut". En ole kyllä täysin varma.

@Menties1 Juurikin näin, ne on taistelusimulaattorin osumien ilmaisimia. Tuosta on vielä kehittyneempi versio, jolla voidaan simuloida myös panssariaseita ja tykistöä. Vaunuissa on omat ilmaisimensa jne.

Guns are small part of war, leading and commanding troops is what matters your civils wouldnt stand a chance against trained soldiers no matter how many million long range rifles you would have. IF this war china against USA would be on USA Soil you would lose.

It might be nothing. Still, there are two countries in Europe that never got occupied during the WWII (that fought the war) U.K. and Finland and they live in a f... island.. a bit easier to defend some might say?

To be exact, Finland is no island, at the most a peninsula. In 1939 it anything else except easy to defend Finland due a 1000 km long common border with the USSR and the inbalance in military power, and both favoured the Soviets. And one must take in count that USSR was not fighting on other major front during the winter war so stakes were low for Finland. Thus the soviet population was 170 million compared to 3.5 milion Finns. And there was no buffer zone unlike the british had West Europe.

I do believe that Finland couldn't attack another nation or fight a large scale war... but... it looks like its army is perfect for guerilla and quick raids. It's the only Northern nation which has an "army" and not a bunch of wankers who play the part of the bad guys (ex: Denmark and Sweden). I love the Winter camo!

Dude, d'ya think that Sweden has got better army than Finland? Don't make me laugh. Whole the time they're shrinking their army, and hereby decreasing the amount of their country's protectors, unlike Finland. If f.ex. Norway would declare a war to Sweden, they wouldn't stand a chance, unlike Finland.

Swedish officers are incompetent and not able to control the troops they have, thats what i read from swedish magazine... Theres 10k officers, which is leftover from large reserve army. In other hand, in Finland theres a lot of training with large units. Swedish army also lacks adequate fire support, even for its small army.

@Vabapaase AFAIK some Estonians fought really hard (the Forest Brothers)... and Estonians suffered much more than Finns because of Soviet Union. At least percentually (just look how many Estonians were deported to Siberia after the war).

The good thing is, though, that nowadays there's an independent Estonia and that "great and mighty" Soviet Union is gone forever :)
