Good job. That is a hard song to perform. We (a quartet of us guys) tried to do it in high school in choir, but we felt that it was just not good enough to do for an audience.
This is pretty good.. but you know I really like the Beach Boys arrangment of this song... try adding a Brian Wilson sounding guy...LoL.. just once..see how u like it...
@neosiris2482 He was giving valid and constructive criticism so that they could legitimately improve and YOU are the one being nasty. You might try calming down and learning to grow intellectually instead of hurling insults at strangers in a public forum.
Sorry, you just don't have it. Several times you are off key. Also, you just lack true feeling. Sounds generic. Perhaps there are too many in your group.
Friars! Well done! If you get a chance to catch the Freshmen, ages about 27-37, you will really enjoy them. They are at the Elkhart Jazz Festival and then Marshall MI this summer. Speak to them, they are very approachable and kind to their fans.
What a nice job The Friars do. A real tribute to The Four Freshmen.
Incidentally, if anyone would like to see video of The Four Freshmen, circa 2007, just plug their name into the SEARCH box on YouTube and you are in for a real treat.
I've been a long-time fan of the Four Freshmen who introduced this number many years ago, and it always has been my favorite of favorites. It's inspiring to me to see a group of college students appreciate this number and sing it with such care, and also to send the message to long-time fans that the legacy of the Freshmen continues to be passed down to other generations. Thanks to the Friars!
wow impressive. this song is fuckin really hard to pull off live, keep it up!

Nice stuff, gents! Keep singing.
Also.... try and sustain the ends of those phrases. There are some nice chords that are lost if you stop singing at the ends of those phrases.
ROCK ON!!

Real music from young folks! There's hope for us all as long as young men and women enjoy perfoming this kind of music!
