@ElitexHaxorx You would never be able to run a source game because the graphic card is the actual processor.. I tryed to play Garry's Mod which is based on the EP2 engine and it crashed the mini 1012..

Im having major problems trying to install neverwinter nights gold edition on a mini 9 with 64gb hard drive and only 1gb ram on wondows xp service pack 3, i'm using an external sony dvd rewriter to do this but it keeps crashing on the second cd. Any ideas?

Not exactly. They are specially made for macs, for example mac ram will only work in a mac motherboard. You can run windows on a mac of course. Also, Mac hardware is a lot more powerful stock

Dude you don't know what your talking about. Apple memory is by no means special. RAM is standardized and the same type of RAM that works in a PC will work in a Mac. How exactly is Apple hardware more powerful stock? With the exception of the motherboard IT'S PRETTY MUCH THE EXACT SAME HARDWARE THAT WOULD GO INTO A PC. If anything OSX is more streamlined to work with the hardware because Apple designs the software themselves and uses set hardware configurations.

It had a default of 1024 by 600 if your doesn't I would check the res by rt click desktop and click properties go to settings and set it. If not contact dell support.

How you get 2GB RAM in it, I know you can get the right type for it, but the specs on the dell site say, you can't put in more than 1GB. Does system properties show 2GB or close??? If it dont, the dell costomer service person lied!!!!

Dell won't sell them with 2gb because then it wouldn't qualify for the new XP license. Check out the MyDellMini forums, everyone upgrades to 2gb, it's like $30 at NewEgg.
