  • My high E string couldn't handle this, so it broke.

  • Nice bro! Had a mean jam :D

  • that was a nice track to jam to :D thanks!

  • love this

  • DAMN! im so slow in the guitar.. D: how i can increase my speed and improve my sweep picking?

anyway but I passed a good time jamming this in phrigian mode :D

  • @schwarszendeust PHRYGIAN

  • @MeYouDisgust :D thanks (lol)

  • @schwarszendeust >practice< if you want serious speed. Your technique is probably week so it slows you down. Work on alternate picking. Don't forget the metronome :)

  • @mateo2711ify =) thanks dude! I¨ ll buy a metronome! :D

  • im kinda new at this... which scales may i use?

  • @x3Roken if you use the e natural minor scale and the e minor pentatonic scale, you will get a pretty solid thing going, but if you've got a bit more knowledge of the neck also try to incorporate the g major scale, as g is the relative major of e minor so you can use them together for an awesome sound :) hope this helped!

  • work on putting some single notes in there not just all power chords to give it more flavor

  • This is great...

    get them scales in order

  • Vhere I can downlad thi track? I must have it :D To my MP3..

  • I want a Jackson :\....or a Schecter....or an Ibanez. My Fender Strat doesn't enjoy this as much as one of those beauties would x]

  • try to use whole tone scale sometimes,it sounds amazing :)

  • 0:22 sounds like the riff from the song Feuer Frei by Rammstein

  • Wow. Just wow. E minor (harmonic and natural) and phrygian (dominant especially) rock. Throw in some Dorian and bam I sound amazing.

  • isn't this mostly phrygian

  • what a great track do you have more?

  • just E natural minor is the more convinient

  • Im greatful to creator to of this backing track.... many thnx...

  • for those discussing scales, you can play any scale/mode in the A major/minor, and E major/minor, F and G and if you combine the notes, you can even start on B

  • E Phrygian dominant sounds good on this for soloing

    E PHRYGIAN HOLY SHITTTT

  • but any minor mode its possible ;)

  • This track is fucking awesome. Improvising to this has improved my sweeping and speed. Thank you!

  • WOOHOO im #365,000 to watch this vid!!

  • Master of puppets!!!!

  • nice backing track, do you have more like this one?

  • play like in C major... this is not E minor, it's E phrygien (3rd mode)

  • @DomX3X no its the 3rd mode of b phrygian, which is e minor

  • @ex3vious its phrygian, play a g/flat to this, its does not fit. an f fits perfectly.

  • @ex3vious ... nop...beacause there's no F in minor... in the first minute you will see it, try to play the first riff then you will see that you have a F for the second chords.

  • @DomX3X correct. Play in G major or E harmonic / E melodic / E minor pentatonic and blues

  • @THEsyntheticFresh u cant play in G major and E harmonic, and E melodic it's sounds not right and on the theoric side it's not quite right too... the F is not sharp, so u can play in C major, A minor, E phrygien, ...the chords in the track turns around it...but u were right for the E pentatonic

  • @DomX3X and u can also play in A phrygien (F major/ D minor) in one part

  • @DomX3X shit, you are right. I don´t considerated F#

  • E phrygian is the shiznit over this

  • Very good track to improvize to :D

  • It actually goes E Phrygian, A Phrygian, E Phrygian, A Phrygian, E Phrygian, Eminor, E Phrygian, A Phrygian...

  • @jakethecooldude Just jamming in e phrygian or e phygian dominant the whole way through sounds fine

  • Brutal!!!!

  • just like the user's name.. CreamerMusic.. this backing track just makes me CREAM there. its FREAKIN AWESOME!!!

  • @MrHelem Download YouTube Downloader, then useing the same downloader, convert the .flv to .mp3 audio layer, thats what i do

  • this is so awesome...om shreding and sweeping this suits me perfect..ROCK ON!! <<<<<<<<<<<

  • It sounds like Master of Puppets, which is what most of it is. This is very unoriginal.

  • @AstrophelTDeath So What? Why do you think he called it "Masters of Metal" ?

  • @EldubeG25 He didn't give any credit to the bad. Thats so what. You don't think they deserve it, it should have at least said in the style of Metallica. But instead he took there riffs and took the credit. So shut the fuck up he called it that because he is retarded.

  • @AstrophelTDeath It sounds like Metallica, I totally agree. He modified MOP's main riff, once again I agree. But since it ain't 100% Metallica's, why wouldn't he take the credits for what HE wrote? If you ain't happy with it, then stop trollin' go listen to something else instead

  • @EldubeG25 Because he didn't write it, its metallicas riff in the same fucking key. Are you retarded. Metallica's "master of puppets" is in the key of e minor. Those licks are in the fucking song. It doesn't sound like metallica it is metallica. All he is doing is taking the licks and playing them in different positions. I'm not saying its not cool, but give credit where its due, and its not due to him.

  • @AstrophelTDeath " All he is doing is taking the licks and playing them in different positions" so it's not the same lick anymore. + It sounds like some Megadeth too. Its called inspiration

  • @EldubeG25 If you play a song, but play it a different way its still that artist's song, it doesn't become yours because you tweaked it a little bit. I'm not saying he could be sued by the band, or copyrighted because he changed the positions and the strings. But its still metallicas riff note for note. Inspiration is when you listen to a band and make up something that sounds completely different. I'm not even saying he can't do this, just give some damn credit to the bands, are you stupid ?

  • @AstrophelDeath I ain't stupid, I just tink that you should chill out a bit man..

  • @AstrophelTDeath 1:05 it sounds nothing like Metallica

  • @RemusStelistu Lol one part doesn't sound like metallica but the rest does, look like I said there is nothing wrong with what he did to make the back track, its not illegal at all. What i'm saying is some of the back track shows almost exact replication of Metallica's "master of puppets". Pretty much note for note, and of course in the same key. All i'm' saying is the guy should give a little bit of fucking credit, he obviously didn't think of the riff on his own. CREDITS TO METALLICA thats all.

  • @AstrophelTDeath Is this Lars Ulrich YouTube account? lol

  • @minorthreat141 No just a good fan, I don't see how any fan can watch as a band they like gets no credit for what they made, i said it like 10 times its not about getting sued or copyright laws, but the riff is exactly the same as "Master of Puppets" he just needs to give them some credit its not that hard. These bands already get there albums ripped off on the internet right when the come out, its not that much to just give some credit to this band or any other band.

  • @AstrophelTDeath So I'm confused, when Master of Puppets came out your saying that instead of downloading it on iTunes, enough people figured they could just listen to this guy's backing tracks? Because basically they feature the exact same riffs from the albuM?

  • @minorthreat141 I didn't say that at all. I'll explain it one last time, if you don't get it then, then you might as well just give up and put on a hat that says Caution: Speak slowly. The backing track features a few riffs from Metallica's Master of Puppets in the same key as the song. My only point is give the band some credit, he made the backing track but took some riffs, I get that and where he's coming from but he gave no credit to anyone but himself. Is that so hard to understand ?

  • @AstrophelTDeath Despite many legal battles the band has gone through, they never won the rights to A, A flat and G chords. I mean damn they must be THE ONLY BAND IN THE WORLD to use those chords in a song. EVER.

  • @minorthreat141 You have to be retarded. I never said they owned the rights to chords or even to this backing track, but you can't sit there and say that the riff in there is not theirs, that is copyrighted. No they can't sue him over this that was never my point anyways, again my point was and still is, that its metallica's riff, he should give some credit to the band instead of implying that its all his work when its not. You are the dumbest person I have ever talked to. Fuck You. Don't care.

  • @AstrophelTDeath You are FUNNY dude! It's funnier though that you really think this track has riffs that are 'exactly the same' as Puppets, really it's entertaining. Thank you for sharing your superior knowledgz!

  • @minorthreat141 Oh your welcome. I'm glad you see how retarded your argument was, and how absolutely pointless it was. Thanks for the compliment. Peace.

  • @AstrophelTDeath Peace, make sure you give Metallica that blowjob that you owe them now.

  • @minorthreat141 Is that some anger I sense. Lmfao.

  • @AstrophelTDeath asdfjkl;
