It is obvious that batman is one of the most iconic characters in the dc comics universe as well as superman. If those two are the core characters then who are the two most important ones in the marvel universe? Then here's another idea, they should make a game called marvel vs dc comics kind of like marvel vs capcom to see who are the better superheroes.

Superman fought Hulk, Batman fought Captain America, Spiderman fought Superboy, etc. The problem is, Marvel likes to focus on teams, whereas DC focuses on individual accomplishments. It's hard to get that one character from Marvel, but if you have to have one...Spiderman, Hulk, to a lesser extent Wolverine, Iron Man.
