  • The beginning got me dizzy hahah O.o

  • very informative :) thankyou

  • Wow! Great job. I am so glad to find someone who actually has dark circles under their eyes - and above them - like me, and yet not be embarassed to show them so that others can benefit. You did such an awesome job! I am almost 47 and have been trying for years to get away from the 'racoon' eye look. Your tips are so practical and make so much sense, I will give them a try! Thanks!

  • Tee hee... YT doesn't give me enough characters to submit my comment as a single post. :P

I'm hoping to get your advice -- I wear very little makeup. No foundation. In the video, you use your foundation to give your skin an even colour. What do you suggest I do to make my concealer look natural if I don't use foundation? Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Thanks for this tutorial! This is the first time I've heard of using concealer for highlighting. I've just started getting into makeup. Because school = dark circles, I've been hunting for the right concealer + technique. Through trial and error I've discovered that dabbing excess product on my cheek bones helps it blend in with my overall skin colour. I hadn't thought of using it in my highlight-areas to give my eyes/cheekbones a visual lift. Thanks!

  • WOW- She looks great! I have never used under-eye concealer, but I'm going to start! WHAT a difference!!!!!!

  • Today I went to the body shop to buy a product for dark circles and the receptionist told me that there was a product for eyes prone to dark circles and the other with a tendency to have conversations. Mind you, I asked a man because the results are much better and more enhanced:) walks over and tells you:) Just some advice, sorry if my English is not good, but I'm Portuguese and I went to google translator ;P

  • Great Video LeeLee, I have a question, how would you use this technique with Liquid Foundation? I usually use concealer after applying liquid foundation. I have very oily skin.

  • Is there any way to cover up a crease?? I have that problem and I don't wear makeup.

  • great tutorial

  • @palizprincess23 THanks darling :)

  • Eurasians rock. Great tutorial.

  • omg your eyes real puffy without it

  • I just found your channel and this was the first video!! It was sooo helpful. Looking forward to watching all your videos!!

    Thanks!

    Suzanne

  • thanks a lot :)

  • Thanks so much for responding. I will look into colorless powder. If it's not too much trouble, do you know of a drug store brand? Also what powder do you day to day? Your make up looks great. thanks! :)

  • @marden94 yes, almost every brand makes their own version of this. If you are looking for something inexpensive you can check out NYC's translucent powders, I believe they have them in both pressed and loose versions so you have some choices there :)

  • Thanks, great video. I never wear make-up & am just now getting interested in it (@ 28:). One question, after the concealer & foundation, then do I put bronzer on? Also can bronzer can used to set the concealer if I don't put on foundation? Thanks a lot!

  • @marden94 Its never too late to get into makeup :) Generally bronzer is used to make you look sun kissed & tan. It should be used sparingly over your cheeks, forehead etc. I wouldn't use it to set concealer because that means you're using large amounts in place of a setting powder. I dont use liquid foundation, only concealer and powder from day to day, if you dont want to do that maybe you can look into a translucent (colorless) powder to set your concealer? :) good luck

  • very cool tequnique, I'm going to try this :) thanks!

  • @ivythomas1122 woohoo! let me know how it works :)

  • hi what do you think of 15 conclear palette? do you use that

  • @missfashioneye Its nice but if you are only going to get it for yourself, then I think its a waste, you only need one or two colors for yourself. If you are getting it for pro-use then its a good value :)

  • @MakeupByLeeLee yes thats true, i did buy that 15 set one, because u can mix colours too for redness undereyes, most do use one yes i agree thxs 4 reply muah xx ur subbie x

  • wish I could do this but I'm so fair I cant find anything lighter than my skin tone....can hardly find foundation light enough for my skin tone. (never can in drug store brands)

  • @TheChevyshaya For you it may be worth it to invest in a bottle of white foundation, only high-end brands make this (to my knowledge) and basically you can add a drop or two of it to any foundation or concealer to lighten up the color. A lot of makeup artists carry this with them in case they do not have a foundation light enough for a client. You can probably find it at sephora, like I said, expensive but maybe worth it for you :)

  • You are beautiful Lee Lee!!! THANK YOU. Love your accent.

  • @debwoowoo awwww thanks girl!!! (Say in LeeLee Accent) =D

  • @hommiedc you are very welcome :)

  • Lee Lee, I know that this can work either way, but I am curious to know.. if you are using concealer with liquid foundation, which do u apply 1st? the concealer or the foundation??

  • please answer this question, what is the name of katie johnsons on here

  • @mirandalovesmakeup2 If you mean "Kandee Johnson" then that is just her name :) The username is her first and last name without spaces in it :)

  • @tokyodoru you are very welcome, give it a shot! Hope it works :)

  • Do you suggest putting concealer on first then foundation or vice versa?

  • @gwenpmitchell It really makes no difference, if you put foundation first, then you will use less concealer, and of you use concealer first you will use less foundation, no rules, just whatever you prefer :)

  • ive been looking for a great for concealer.....thanx a bunch!

  • @77ProfeChanel you are welcome! Glad I could help :)
