Hey i got this and i updated IE to 6 SP1 and now everything is screwed up. if i open any dialog (exept the settings) in IE or Outlook, it says unknown error in dialog. anyway nothing works. i installed it manually because windows update site refused to work with ie 5.5, but still doesn't works. any ideas why this happend? when installing it jumps from 3% to 80% immediately... :S

@DaviUnic ,im sorry to say this but you will have to reinstall Windows Neptune, you should not have tried to install Internet Explorer 6 sp1, as for windows update, dont bother, it will not work, Windows Neptune is a ALPHA build of Windows,it was never meant to be updated.

Hey I Have VMware 6.5 And I Have Neptune With Working VMware SVGA, Mouse, Ethernet, Sound, VMCI, VMXnet And SCSI Driver (All Drivers). Installing Tools IN Neptune IN VMware 6.5 IS MY SECRET THING!!!

no, the driver didnt work, as emulators, vmware is best for features and for accessing usb drives etc BUT virtualpc will install just about any windows os so its the easy option, virtualbox is ok too.

With the driver, are you referring to the video driver? I had trouble installing that, but I just went into device manager and did a manual install, something like "VMvare VGA Device" from the VMware Tools CD and it worked fine for me.

if you want full color support in a virtual machine, try it under virtual pc 2007, it works great, im using the same build

Ich hab Windows Neptune Build 5111 auf einem echten PC installiert. Aber seitdem ich directX 9.0c installiert habe, sehe ich nach dem Start ein paar Sekunden den Desktop und bekomme dann einen Bluescreen. Was kann ich da machen?

I've installed Windows Neptune Build 5111 on a real PC. But after I've installed directX 9.0c I see after the boot the desktop for a few seconds and then i get a bluescreen. What kann I do?

Use Virtual PC 2007, it seems to be much better than VMWare, and it has OS2/warp support.

yea most windows nt versions back to nt 4.0 support dual cores. but windows 2000 and up take advantage of them

The installed ones are:

windows XP

windows 3.11

windows 95 (Trying to fix the problem with it)
