Afghanistan is different from Iraq. With Afghanistan you have the whole opium factor. As long al-quida controls the opium fields and it's export...they control Afghanistan. Iraq is a religious civil war between tribes; and I don't believe that al-quida would be able to take complete control over Iraq as they did in Afghanstan. The real question and concern for me is--how much control would Iran have in Iraq after we left?
